ObjectiveTo understand the level of disease cognition,self-management and health education of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus;to use experiential education joint Orem support education to implement health intervention for patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus,to try to construct patient-oriented and individualized whole-course self-health management program;to evaluate the effect of experiential combination of Orem support education on improving the cognitive level and self-management ability of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus.Methods(1)Through consulting the domestic and foreign literature to understand the current situation of relevant theoretical research,combined with the problems existing in the existing clinical education methods and clinical experience,through consulting and investigating the endocrine clinical experts,nursing education experts and teaching experts and other related personnel to form the first draft of the experiential education joint Orem support education program,and then through the clinical pre-experiment to modify the education program,eventually formed and applied Experiential education and Orem support education program to newly diagnosed patients with type 2 diabetes.(2)Collect the diagnosed patients with type 2diabetes mellitus from March to August 2019 were randomly divided into control group and intervention group.Routine outpatient education and follow-up were performed in the control group,and experiential education combined Orem support education was carried out in the intervention group.(3)Analyzed the general data of the two groups before intervention,and the blood glucose index,diabetes knowledge level and diabetes self-management level of the two groups before and after the intervention were compared respectively,and the experience effect evaluation table was used to evaluate the intervention group.Using SPSS25.0 statisticalsoftware for data analysis,statistical description: blood sugar index,diabetes knowledge level score,self-management score and other measurement data are determined according to the distribution characteristics,the data of normal distribution are((?)±s),and the non-normal distribution is expressed by median,interquartile spacing.Statistical analysis: the measurement data is subject to normal distribution using t-check The statistical data were measured by chi-square test,with(P <0.05)as the difference.Results(1)118 subjects were included in this research,there were 59 cases in the intervention group and the control group.During the course of the study,there were no withdrawals,no follow-ups,etc.In the end,information collection,health education,and follow-up intervention were successfully completed.There was no significant difference in baseline demographic and general clinical data between the two groups of patients(P>0.05).(2)There was no significant difference in blood glucose index,diabetes knowledge level,diabetes self-management score and each dimension score between the two groups before intervention(P>0.05).(3)After 3 months of intervention,the intervention group was better than the control group in blood glucose control,diabetes knowledge level score,diabetes self-management score and each dimension score,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).At the same time,the effect of experiential education was fully affirmed by the patients in the intervention group.Conclusion(1)The application of experiential education and Orem support education for the whole process management of newly diagnosed patients with type 2 diabetes can significantly improve the level of blood glucose control,diabetes knowledge and self-management of patients.(2)The effect of experiential education was fully affirmed by the patients.(3)Experiential education and Orem support education are of great clinical significance in the formation of correct cognition and the improvement of self-control ability of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus.It can be used as a new type of diabetes health education model in diabetes specialist clinic.
