Objective:To understand the current situation of food safety knowledge and the satisfaction status of food safety in community residents in Jiangxi province,and to explore the influencing factors of food safety knowledge and satisfaction of community residents,and to analysis the existing problems in food safety supervision,to improve the awareness of residents' food safety,reduce and prevent all kinds of food safety accidents,to develop food safety-related knowledge publicity and education strategies and strengthen food safety supervision and management to provide a theoretical basis for the government departments.Methods:A stratified cluster random sampling method was used to collect 2416 street or 1216 community residents in 12 counties(districts)of Jiangxi Province.Through the on-site epidemiological survey of community residents,the knowledge and satisfaction of food safety knowledge of community residents were obtained.Statistical analysis,chi-square test and binary classification Logistic regression analysis were used for statistical analysis.Results:(1)The general awareness rate of food safety related knowledge of 1216 community residents in Jiangxi Province was 77.1%.There were statistical differences in food safety knowledge among different populations.The awareness rate of male residents was higher than that of female residents(c2=8.392,P=0.004);The awareness rate of unmarried residents was higher than that of married residents and higher than that of other marital status(c 2=11.959,P=0.003);The awareness rate of urban residents was higher than that of rural areas(c2=10.515,P=0.001);The lower the residents' age,the higher the education level,the higher the monthly income,the higher the awareness rate of knowledge(P<0.05).Logistics regression analysis showed that education level and monthly income were significant factors affecting the overall awareness rate of food safety knowledge(P<0.05).(2)1216 cases of community residents food safety status of the overall satisfaction of the general and above accounted for 85.8%,food safety supervision work satisfaction of the general and above accounted for 69.4%.The results of logistic regression analysis show that the level of education,food service personnel or not is a significant influencing factor on the overall satisfaction of food safety in the current residential areas(P<0.05).Education level,food practitioners or not,the monthly income are the influencing factors of residents' satisfaction with the basic level food supervision(P<0.05).The main way for community residents to gain knowledge of food safety is television and networking,they think themost trusted food safety information is published by government departments.At the same time they need the knowledge of safe eating.Conclusion:The community residents in Jiangxi province have a good knowledge of food safety,but there are some misunderstandings of food additives,and further publicity and education is still needed.The government should make the education strategy,especially to strengthen the lower education level,monthly income and less rural residents and other key groups of food safety knowledge education,improve the food safety knowledge and awareness.The overall satisfaction of the residents in Jiangxi province on food safety is relatively good,but the satisfaction of food safety supervision is low.The current food safety supervision in Jiangxi province have weak links,should further strengthen food safety supervision and management,to explore the social governance mode of supervision,social supervision,build an effective platform for the dissemination of information,improve information transparency and improve the level of food safety,food safety satisfaction of residents.
