Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy and safety of moderate intensity statins in patients with arteriosclerotic cardiovascular disease(ASCVD).Methods:Collect 500 patients data in accordance with inclusion and exclusion criteria ,who once stayed in Geriatric cardiology of Qilu Hospital of Shandong University from 2012-05 to 2015-06,and were first diagnosed coronary heart disease through Coronary angiography and never make any lipid-lowering therapy.According to the age and sex, they were divided into two groups respectively. Observe the changes of LDL-C, ALT, TBIL and CK between two groups respectively, before and after month of moderate intensity statin treatment. Results:When the age is the grouping index, < 60 years old and above 60 years old patients with statin related adverse reactions occurred is low, the reduction in LDL-C and LDL-C compliance rate are similar, the difference is not statistically significant (P > 0.05). When the gender is the grouping index, the incidence of adverse reactions in the male and female patients is low ,the reduction in LDL-C and LDL-C compliance rate are similar, the difference is not statistically significant (P > 0.05).Conclusion:To patients with ASCVD,the moderate intensity statins are safe.In the management of dyslipidemia.Moderate intensity statin treatment is efficient to the patients with ASCVD.we can consider the direct initiation of moderate intensity statin therapy to patients with ASCVD.
