Background Gastric cancer is one of the most serious diseases that endanger human health, and the incidence of gastric cancer is the fourth and and mortality is the highest in all tumors in the world.DBC1(deleted in breast cancer-1)is a newly discovered gene in2002,because it was found to be absent in breast cancer,so called breast cancer tissue deletion gene.In the initial study,DBC1 was found to be relatively deficient in many tumor cell lines, such as hepatocellular carcinoma and breast cancer cell lines. However, with the in-depth understanding of DBC1,it is found that it was not disappearance in all cancer tissues. For example, studies have shown that the expression of DBC1 in lung cancer cells is higher than that of normal human lung fibroblasts. At present, the expression of DBC1 in gastric cancer tissues, adjacent tissues and normal tissues and its correlation with clinical pathology of gastric cancer is not clear. What is the relationship between DBC1 and clinical pathology and prognosis of gastric cancer, and whether it can provide reference value for the treatment of gastric cancer,it is worthy of study. Objective:The aim of this study was to detect the expression of DBC1 in gastric cancer tissues, adjacent tissues and normal tissues by immunohistochemistry,To explore 1.The difference of DBC1 expression in gastric cancer cells, adjacent cancer cells and normal cells.2.the relationship between the expression level of DBC1 and TNM stage, differentiation degree and lymph node metastasis of gastric carcinoma.3,explore the relationship between DBC1 expression and gender,age.4,through the study of the above questions, further shows that DBC1 can be used as a marker for the diagnosis of gastric cancerMethods:We selected 103 cases of gastric cancer from China people's Liberation Army eighty-second hospital in the past 4 years which have required pathological data.Immunohistochemical method was used to detect the target antigen in tissue sections.Through data collection, data processing and analysis,we got the difference of DBC1 expression in gastric cancer cells, cancer adjacent cells and normal cells, the relationship between the expression of DBC1 and pathological staging, classification and lymphatic metastasis of gastric cancer, the relationship between DBC1 expression and sex and age.Results:1?From the point of view of tissue, the mean value of gastric cancer tissue was202.86,and the mean value of adjacent tissue was about 134.93,and the mean value of normal tissue was about 127.21.The final Z=61.969,P=0.000<0.05,the difference was statistically significant. The gastric cancer tissue had highest detection efficiency.2 ?From TNM staging,Z=-2.664,P=0.008<0.05.The data were statistically significant, indicating that there was a difference in the expression of DBC1 in stage I ?II and III ? IV.The mean value of III and IV was 61.23,it was higher than that of stage I and II which mean value was 45.90,indicating that DBC1 expression was higher in the former than in the latter.3?From the degree of differentiation, chi square value of=2.533,P=0.282>0.05,There was no statistical difference? The results showed that there was no difference in the expression of DBC1 in low differentiation group, moderate differentiation group and high differentiation group.4 ? From lymphatic metastasis,Z=-3.550,P=0.00<0.05,The results showed that the two groups were significantly different.5 ? Rank test showed that the expression of DBC1 was not statistically significant in gender and age. Conclusion:The expression of DBC1 in gastric cancer was related to the tissue site,TNM stage and lymph node metastasis, but not with sex,age and differentiation.DBC1 can be used as a marker for early diagnosis of gastric cancer.
