Object: To discuss the different clinical efficacy of laparoscopic radical resection for rectal cancer reserves the left colic artery with open radical resection. Methods :Sixty gastric cancer patients who received underwent radical resection for rectal cancer in the department of general surgery of the first affiliated hospital of Wannan Medical Collage were retrospectively analyzed from June 2015 to June2016.The patients were divided into two groups, the one group is laparoscopic radical resection for rectal cancer reserves the left colic artery, the other one is open radical resection. The postoperative clinical data of age, gender, the number of harvested lymph node, the incidence of anastomotic fistula, length of hospital stay, the recurrence rate in half year were collected. The data was statistical analyzed with the spss19.0.We ruled P<0.05 means statistical difference,P<0.01 was considered statistical difference is significant. Results: laparoscopic radical resection for rectal cancer reserves the left colic artery have no significant statistical difference with the open radical resection in the number of harvested lymph node, the incidence of anastomotic fistula length of hospital stay and the recurrence rate in half year. Conclusion: laparoscopic radical resection for rectal cancer reserves the left colic artery can achieve the same radical clearance of lymph nodes as the open radical resection, and can provide better blood supply for anastomotic, which is safe and reliable.
