Objective To study the safety and efficacy of early enteral nutrition in patients with severe acute pancreatitis. Methods Through the review of our hospital in January 2006 to December 2015 89 cases of nutritional support in patients with severe acute pancreatitis,52 patients received early enteral nutrition were divided into the observation group and 37 patients in the control group(no enteral nutrition),compared with before treatment and 5 days(D5),7 days(D7),10 days(D10)and 14 days(D14)serum albumin and C reactive protein(CRP),every day to measure blood sugar, the observation group compared with the control group EN after the start of the week between glycemic index. At the same time, the hospitalization time, total cost of hospitalization and intestinal function recovery time were recorded and compared between the two groups. And compare the number of complications between two groups.Result The two group in 7 days,10 days later, there was significant difference between the serum albumin(P<0.05);the two group in 7 days,10 days and 14 days after the detection of CRP has significant differences(P<0.05);daily blood glucose monitoring, blood glucose level of observation group was significantly lower than the control group;the two groups in hospitalization time,no significant difference statistics;cost of hospitalization of observation group was significantly lower than the control group, there was statistical significance(P<0.05);the observation group intestinal function recovery time was significantly earlier than the control group, there was statistical significance(P<0.05);the observation group died 4 people,3 people died in the control group, comparing the two groups had no significant difference.Observation group in a number of complications is 13 cases, whereas the control number is 22 cases, complications between the two groups have significant differences, with statistical significance(P < 0.05)Conclusion:Early enteral nutrition support in patients with severe acute pancreatitis is safe and effective, and has obvious advantages in improving the overall situation of patients with SAP.
