Objective The purpose of this research is to study mutual wear amount of high speed cutting behavior between bur and pure titanium,between bur and enamel as well as mechanism of high speed cutting behavior,which provide referable basic data for dental restoration and tooth preparation.Methods 1.High speed cutting experiments have been made for 10 brand new Mani burs and pure titanium plate with a thickness of 2mm on high speed cutting table,electronic analytical balance has been adopted to measure the weight loss of burs before and after experiment,laser confocal microscope has been adopted to measure the cutting depth of pure titanium plate and analyze the relationship between cutting amounts of these two.2.40 enamel samples with a thickness of 2mm have been prepared,high speed cutting experiments have been made for 40 brand new Mani burs and enamel plates on high speed cutting table,electronic analytical balance has been adopted to measure the weight loss of burs before and after experiment,laser confocal microscope has been adopted to measure the cutting depth of enamel and analyze the relationship between cutting amounts of these two.Using electronic microscope to observe cutting bottom and marginal conditions after experiment,and analyze cutting mechanism.Then analyze if it exists consistence between bur and pure titanium,between bur and enamel under high speed cutting behavior.3.SPSS 19 statistical package for Pearson correlation analysis is used for this experiment.Results 1.Mutual wear amount of bur and pure titanium under high speed cutting material has significant positive correlation(P<0.05).The correlation coefficient is 0.758.2.Mutual wear amount of bur and enamel under high speed cutting behavior has positive correlation(P<0.05).The correlation coefficient is 0.392.Conclusion 1.Mutual wear amount of high speed cutting behavior of bur and pure titanium/enamel has positive correlation.2.The wear resistance of high speed cutting of enamel is weaker than that of pure titanium,which is inconsistent with the results of the tribological properties of both of them under low speed.
