Objective : to explore the IDEAL-IQ in patients with polymyositis and polymyositis and Dermatomyositis quantitative determination of thigh fatMaterial and methods:patients with the clinical diagnosis for PM/DM 19(female 13 6 males,age 27-71 years),polymyositis and Dermatomyositis in 14 cases and 5 cases of dermatomyositis.19 15 patients with muscle biopsies in patients with clinical diagnosis of PM/DM.In 4 cases,the clinical diagnosis for PM/DM.Choose 17 healthy volunteers as a control group,and volunteers in all patients underwent bilateral thigh routine MRI sequences and IDEAL-IQ sequences.Will get the image data into GEadw4.4 station,T2WI-IDEAL and the reconstruction of the reference axis in-phase,out-phase axis IDEAL-IQ select interested in fat fraction map measuring interval.All muscles of normal fat score of single factor analysis of variance between respectively on fat accumulation in the muscles,swelling muscles and not involving the independent samples t-test with normal muscle muscles.To Further study edema muscle,it can be divided into acute,chronic group and normal muscle for variance analysis.Results:normal group semimembranosus,biceps femoris muscle fat score highest,respectively(2.99 ± 1.52)% and(2.64 ± 1.18)% other muscles were significant statistically,no significant statistical significance between thetwo.Femoral muscle fat fraction in lowest average(2.30 ± 0.71)% except and semimembranosus,biceps femoris statistically significance outside the unit,length,adductor muscle were not significant statistically.Fat accumulation in the muscles in the case group than normal in all six muscle muscle lipid fraction increased,with significant statistical significance(p<0.05)and today is not in all six muscles,the muscles are normal muscle and fat score no significant difference,the difference was not statistically significant(p>0.05).Edema,muscle Vastus medialis muscle than normal fat fraction increased,with significant statistical significance(p<0.05)while in others no significant difference in muscles with normal muscle fat score,the difference was not statistically significant(p>0.05).Further explore edema muscle,the muscle fat grades of chronic group higher than normal group,with significant statistical significance(p < 0.05),acute group were no difference between the normal muscle fat scores,there was no statistically significant difference.Total fat accumulation in the muscles of fat fraction in the experimental group(10.825.58),General edema,muscle fat fraction(4.68 ± 2.95)% total does not involve the muscle fat fraction(2.99 ± 1.07).Conclusion:PM/DM patients fat infiltration muscle fat scores more normal muscle obviously increased,Edema muscle in chronic group fat scores were higher than normal group,the IDEA-IQ as a noninvasive,high precision of quantitative tissue imaging technology of fat,can provide more quantitative information to explore PM/DM disease progression ? change,it will be in PM/DM and the other type muscle disease has huge of application value and the prospects.
