The Preliminary Study On The Effect Of Simotang Oral Liquid On Gastrointestinal Function After Operation Of Esophageal Cancer

Objective: To investigate the effect of Simotang oral liquid on recovery of gastrointestinal function and gastrointestinal hormones in patients with esophageal cancer after operation.Method : 70 cases of esophageal cancer were randomly divided into Simotang oral liquid group and saline group with 35 cases in each group,two groups were given conventional nutritional support treatment.Simotang oral liquid group was injected with Simotang oral liquid through the nasal tube,saline group were given normal saline treatment.The recovery of gastrointestinal function and the gastrointestinal hormones in the two groups were observed and compared.Result : Simotang oral liquid group of postoperative anal exhaust time,bowel sound recovery time was significantly shorter than the saline group(P<0.05),but there was no significant differences between the two groups of the first defecation time(P>0.05).The level of MTL and GAS in the Simotang oral liquid group was significantly different from that in the saline group(P<0.05).The concentration of MTL and GAS in the Simotang oral liquid group increased with the passage of time(P<0.05),the difference of the time points in the group was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion : Simotang oral liquid can effectively promote the recovery of gastrointestinal function for postoperative esophageal cancer,it may be related to the promotion of MTL and GAS secretion.
