Progress of science and technology has brought great changes to the medical industry.Medical innovation achievements have become more and more,as well as the types and quantities of medical consumables. It brought difficulties to the management of medical consumables, especially the inventory of consumables. It has drawn more and more attention. The problem of inaccurate in inventory has been there all along. And the multiple species of the medical consumables, strong timeliness of the needs, high requirement of the quality will aggravate the waste or delay treatment because of any carelessness.RFID as an emerging technology, can effectively alleviate the problem of inaccurate in inventory and improve the efficiency of medical consumables supply chain. However RFID will also bring the problem of cost increase. How to effectively balance the relationship between costs and benefits of RFID technique is particularly important.Aiming at the problem of inconformity between the actual inventory and the system inventory in medical consumables inventory,RFID technology can be used to alleviate this problem and combined with the development of informationization about modern medical consumables management. This article establishes the medical consumables inventory model based on RFID technology. It analyzes the effect of the benefit from the RFID technology and calculates the critical value of the cost of RFID tag and the critical value of the improvement rate of RFID.Then, from the perspective of the hospital, the allocation problem of the RFID tag cost is discussed and the medical consumables inventory model is set up based on cost allocation of RFID technology. Then, this article analyzes the balance problems between the cost-sharing ratio of RFID tag and the ratio of inaccurate inventory under the influence of total inventory cost. Finally, two numerical examples are used to validate the two models. The conclusions show that under the condition of certain coordination,RFID technology can be used to improve the discrepancy problem between actual inventory and system inventory, optimize the optimal order quantity and improve the efficiency of the supply chain. This article is aimed at the actual situation in medical consumables inventory.Based on the theory of inventory and RFID technology, corresponding modes are set up and the corresponding equilibrium conditions can be get.It brings certain reference value to supply chain members about adopting the RFID technology.
