Objective: To explore the level of BARF1 specific cytotoxic immune response in nasopharyngeal carcinoma(NPC)using enzyme-linked immunospot assay(ELISpot). And to investigate immune status and to provide information about experimental assessment to prognostic factors and the way of immunotherapy of nasopharyngeal carcinoma at ???a stage. Methods: 92 newly diagnosed NPC patients were enrolled, all patients were pathological confirmed from march 2013 to march 2016 in our hospital. To exam the level of BARF1 specific cytotoxic immune reponse and to confirm the significance of prognostic factors.Results:(1)The level of BARF1 specific cytotoxic immune reponse in general clinical characteristics have no statistical significance(P>0.05).(2)Univariate analysis showed that recent curative effect and the high level of BARF1 specific cytotoxic immune reponse were significantly associated with the PFS?DMFS(x~2=4.718,P=0.030;x~2=5.499,P=0.019).(3)Multivariate COX proportional hazards models analysis showed that recent curative effect and the high level of BARF1 specific cytotoxic immune reponse were independent influential factors of the PFS?DMFS(Exp(?)=0.224,P=0.048,95.0%CI=0.051~0.987;Exp(?)=23.615,P=0.000,95.0%CI=0.040~0.797)and DMFS(Exp(?)=0.179,P=0.024,95.0%CI=0.040~0.797;Exp(?)=29.004,P=0.000,95.0% CI=8.174~102.909)Conclusions:(1)The level of BARF1 specific cytotoxic immune reponse and recent curative effect are independent prognostic factors for PFS and DMFS.(2)The level of BARF1 specific cytotoxic immune reponse could be a target index of immunotherapy?predictor of disease progression and prognosis for NPC patients. |
