Objective: To explore the diagnostic value of iodine diagram of gemstone energy spectrum CT imaging in pulmonary embolis.Methods: Eighty patients with suspected pulmonary embolism were enrolled in our hospital from Jan,2015 to May,2016.Twenty patients with pulmonary embolism were diagnosed by CT pulmonary angiography(CTPA).To obtain a conventional CTPA image and an iodine-based substance image.The number,location and type of perfusion defected were recorded?To observe the changes of iodine content in the blood supply area caused by different types of emboli.The content of iodine in normal lung tissue and the content of iodine in lung tissue of embolized area were quantitatively measured by GSI Viewer software package.Paired t test and symbol rank test were used to compare the measurement data with x2 test.Results: Twenty patients with pulmonary embolism diagnosed by CTPA were found to have 101 clots,including lobar(n=25),segmental(n=59),sub-segmental(n=17).60 clots were occlusive and 41 clots were non-occlusive,including central clots(n=6),eccentric clots(n=30),mural thrombus(n=5);Embolism areas and contrasted iodine content respectively [(9.56 +5.96)g/L] and [(15.58 + 6.68)g/L],the difference was statistically significant(p<0.05);complete embolism area and the contrasted areas iodine content respectively [(6.22 +3.60g)/L] and [(16.92 + 6.94)g/L],the difference was statistically significant difference(p<0.05),central embolic areas and contrasted iodine content respectively [(10.73 + 5.02)g/L] and [(12.54 + 5.72)g/L],the difference was not statistically significant;the iodinecontent of eccentric embolism areas and contrasted areas were [(11.18 + 5.82)g /L] and[(14.33 + 6.18)g/L],the difference was statistically significant(p<0.05);the mural thrombus areas and contrasted areas were [(18.47 + 7.02)g/L] and [(18.62 + 7.90)g/L],with no significant difference between them.Conclusion:The gemstone CT can display the pulmonary function of pulmonary embolism changes,analysis of the impact of different types of emboli to the blood supply area pulmonary blood flow,pulmonary embolism severity evaluation has important clinical value.in the evaluation of pulmonary embolism.
