Correlation Of Sex Hormone Levels And Sperm DNA Integrity In Infertile Men

Objective: To detect male infertility patients’ sex hormones including follicle-st imulating hormone(FSH),luteinizing hormone(LH)and testosterone(TTE)level,and analyze three kinds of hormone levels and the relationship between them and sperm DNA integrity.Methods: 75 cases of male infertility patients in the hospita l were used to detect the concentration of serum sex hormones: FSH,LH,and TT E,and analyze DNA fragmentation test index(DFI)between groups with different concentrations.Results: The Spearman correlation analysis results showed that FSH and LH levels were positively correlated(P<0.001)with DFI.The multivariate li near regression analysis showed that FSH,LH and TTE were negatively correlated with DFI(R2=0.899;F=132.898;P<0.001).Conclusions: Low levels of FSH,LH and TTE may aggregate the sperm DNA integrity damage,which may help in the diagnosis and treatment of infertility of men.
