Objective To study the difference in frequency distribution of SLC22A1 gene polymorphisms in Xinjiang Uygur men and other ethnic groups,and provide a theoretical basis for diabetic gene oriented individualized treatment of metformin.Methods Using Snapshot technology platform analysis of DNA SLC22A1 gene in this study included 276 Uygur healthy male volunteers in peripheral blood(rs34059508,rs4646277,rs72552763)the frequency distribution of genotype and allele.Results SLC22A1 gene rs34059508,rs4646277,rs72552763 allele frequency distribution was consistent with the Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium with a representative group(X2 = 0.009,P=0.927 = 0.246;X2;P=0.620;X2 =0.034,P=0.224).Comparison of the Asian population,Caucasian.African American population,Xinjiang Uygur population SLC22A1 locus genotype and allele frequency of rs34059508,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);the Xinjiang Uygur population SLC22A1 gene rs34059508 allele frequency of A was lower than that of the Caucasian population(P<0.01).Comparison of the Asian population and Han population.Xinjiang Uygur population SLC22A1 gene rs4646277 allele and genotype frequency,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);the Xinjiang Uygur population SLC22A1 gene rs4646277 allele frequency of T was higher than that in Han people group(P<0.01);G/T and T/T gene frequencies were 29.3%and 4.8%in Xinjiang the Uygur population SLC22A1 gene rs72552763,the gene frequency distribution was found in the relevant literature and related data in SNP database.19 patients had a family history of T2DM in 12 cases of SLC22A1 gene mutation,208 cases without family history of T2DM SLC22A1 gene mutation rate was 77.9%(162/208),the difference was not statistically significant(X2?1.367,P=0.242)conclusion:Xinjiang SLC22A1,rs4646277,rs34059508 gene of Uygur male rs72552763 mutation rates were 0.4%,5.8%,29.3%and 4.8%.The family history of T2DM did not affect the SLC22A1 gene mutation...
