Objective:The aim of this study is to explore the effectiveness and safety between the use of simple laser treatment and intravitreal injection of Conbercept combined with laser treatment. Methods:Retrospective case control study,30 patients(30 eyes)who were treated in our hospital from May 2015 to December 2016 and diagnosed with diabetic macular edema were divided into control group(15 cases, simple laser treatment)and treatment Group(15 cases, intravitreal injection of Conbercept combined with laser treatment). The best corrected visual acuity(BCVA),6 mm total macular volume(TMV),and central macular thickness(CMT)were measured before and 1 week,1 month and 3 months after treatment. At the same time, pay attention to the occurrence of complications.Results:(1)Compared with the average BCVA before treatment, except for 1 week after treatment in control group(P=0.386),the average BCVA after IVR at 1 week,1 month and 3 months improved in control group(P=0.020?P=0.008),treatment group(P =0.011?P =0.001?P =0.001).The average BCVA of the treatment group was higher than that in control group after 1 week,1 month and 3 months treatment(P=0.044?P=0.019?P=0.039).(2)Compared with the average CMT before treatment, except for 1 week after treatment in control group(P=0.242),the average CMT after IVR at 1 week,1 month and 3 months lesser in control group,(P=0.036?P=0.015)treatment group(P=0.028,P=0.010,P=0.001).The average CMT of the treatment group was lesser than that in control group after 1 week,1 month and 3 months treatment(P=0.001?P=0.046?P=0.033).(3)Compared with the average TMV before treatment, except for 1 week after treatment in control group(P=0.109),the average CMT after IVR at 1 week,1 month and 3 months lesser in control group(P=0.001?P=0.001),treatment group.(P=0.012,P=0.001,P=0.001).There was no significant difference in TMV level between the control group and the experimental group at 1 week after treatment. The level of TMV in the experimental group was significantly lower than that in the control group at 1 month and 3 months after treatment(P =0.010,P= 0.008).(4)The incidence of other complications occurred during the treatment period:In the treatment group, there were 1 case of corneal edema during the follow up period, without using drugs and spontaneous regression within 15 days.No endophthalmitis, retinal detachment, uveitis, vitreous hemorrhage, cataract development,long-term high intraocular pressure and other complications happened both in the two groups. Conclusion:Compared with the simple laser treatment, intravitreal injection of Conbercept combined with laser treatment can improve the patient's vision better, reduce macular edema and reduce adverse reactions in the treatment of diabetic macular edema.
