Clinical Research On Treatment Of Acute Exacerbation Of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease(COPD) With TCM Syndrome Differentiation

Objective:Observation of TCM prescription clinical efficacy in the treatment of acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease,and Western medicine treatment alone were compared,summed up the characteristic of Chinese medicine and treatment with a better therapeutic effect,so as to expand the treatment of acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease,increase the method of therapy for acute exacerbations of chronic obstructive lung disease..Methods:The study was conducted in 260 patients of AECOPD in Jiangsu Province T.C.M Hospital,using the way of cohort study,basing on the patient preferences,were divided into treatment group and control group.The control group,55cases,were all in the treatment of western medicine convention(oxygen theragy,anti-infection,cough and phlegm,relieving asthma,etc.)The treatment group,205 cases,were all in the treatment of western medicine convention,and additionally given traditional Chinese medicine,taking two times a day.The total hospitalization days,main symptoms,secondary symptoms and clinical efficacy of the two groups were observed and analyzed before and after treatment.Data were collected and analyzed statistically.Results:According to the case of statistical data showed that the two groups in hospitalization time,the treatment group than the control group can shorten the hospitalization time of patients;in the symptoms,cough,expectoration,chest distress,cyanosis,sweating,dry mouth,etc.,the symptoms of the treated group was better than control group(P<0.05);in the diet,treatment group better than the control group;in wheezing,shortness of breath,wheezing,treatment group and control group in the improvement of symptoms are similar,no significant difference.In the laboratory indicators,the two groups before and after treatment were improved,the white blood cell count,neutrophil percentage,C reactive protein and blood gas analysis of PH,PaO2,the two groups had no significant difference(P>0.05).In the curative effect,the total effective rate of the treatment group is higher than that of the control group.Conclusion:Chinese and Western medicine treatment is better than western medicine for AECOPD,can improve the clinical symptoms,shorten the hospitalization time,so as to improve the quality of life of patients.The results show a certain superiority of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of AECOPD,worthy of clinical reference and promotion.In the curative effect,the total effective rate of the treatment group is higher than that of the control group.
