Clinical Research Treating Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease By Catgut Embedding On Du Meridian

Objective:Du merdian catgut embedding is designed specifically for gastroesophageal reflux disease.This study focuses on evaluating the safeness and effeteness of the Du merdian catgut embedding treatment based on analysis of the treatment result.Purpose of the study is to gain a deep understanding of the Du meridian catgut embedding treatment and promote the treatment home and abroad.Method:The experiment randomly divided the 50 gastroesophageal reflux disease patients into 2 groups,the treatment group and control group.The patients in the treatment group received Du merdian catgut embedding treatment while the patients in control group were treated with Rebeprazole Sodium Enteric-coated capsule produced by Jumpcan Pharmaceutical Limited.The study cost 6 weeks as a treatment cycle and data were collected for every six weeks to compare the difference.During the experiment,the result of RDQ,GERD-HRQL,SAS,SDS,GerQ were all collected and the difference between 2 groups were also recorded and analyzed.Result:1.Among patients in treatment group,13 of them were markedly effective.9 effective,3 ineffectual;while in control group,6 of them were markedly effective.10 effective,9 ineffectual.The total effective rate of treatment group was 88%while that of control group was 64%,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The significant effective rate of treatment group was 52%while that of control group was 24%,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The result illustrates that the performance of treatment group is better than that of control group,and the improvement of patients is rather apparently.2.The RDQ score changed in treatment group at the end of treatment circle and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),indicating that Du merdian catgut embedding is of effectiveness for GERD.As in the control group,the difference in RDQ score of patients who received treatment has statistically significance(P<0.05),indicating that the Rebeprazole Sodium Enteric-coated capsule is effective for GERD.3.At the end of treatment,the scores of RDQ,SAS,SDS,GRED-HRQL have critically decreased(P<0.05)in both groups.In treatment group,the score of which is notably lower than that of control group(P<0.05),illustrating that the Du merdian catgut embedding treatment is more effective than Rebeprazole Sodium Enteric-coated capsule,especially in improving the GERD patients' symptom,physical and mental health,depressive state and quality of life.Conclusion:Du merdian catgut embedding treatment is effective for gastroesophageal reflux disease,much better and more efficient than western medication(Rebeprazole Sodium Enteric-coated capsule).This treatment could stimulate Yang energy of Du meridian and modify the ascending and descending of Qi movement of Du meridian.In addition,it shows not only an dramatic relief for the GERD patients' symptoms such as acid redlux,heartburn,non-cardiac chest pain and regurgitation etc,but also considerable improvement at patients anxiety,depression and quality of life.Du merdian catgut embedding treatment is an compelling new method for treating GERD,it is worthwhile for widespread promotion and application.
