The number of red blood cell(RBC)and white blood cell(WBC)in human blood is very large,there are about 4.2~5 million RBCs and about 5~10 thousands WBCs every cubic millimeter in the blood of adults.The role of RBC is transports oxygen and carbon dioxide,and WBC has the ability to resist viruses,and immunity to diseases.The migration and deformation of blood cell have related to the forces caused by the internal and external environment,therefore,studying the mechanical characteristics of blood cell is essential for researching the blood circulatory system.In this paper,we use C language program as main program to call FLUENT software and ANSYS software to achieve the three-dimensional numerical simulation of movement and deformation of cell in the rectangular chamber.FLUENT software was called by C language main program to get the force of cell caused by fluid and obtaine the speed,rotation angle and displacement of cell rigid body motion,at the same time,the C language main program called ANSYS software to calculate the deformation of cell.On the basis of the preliminary work the,we took the initial angular velocity of cells into consideration,and researchered the influence of initial angular velocity on of the motion and deformation of cell in a flow chamber.The results show that:(1)when the cells were applied to the initial angular velocity arounded the x,y,z axis,the cell will become flat circular towarded the rotary axis,which is similar to the double-concave shape of normal blood cells in blood,and the deformation of the cell increased with the initial angular velocity became larger.(2)When the initial angular velocity was-250 rad / s arounded the y-axis,the jumping movement of cell in the direction of gravity was impacted obviously,the jumping time movement of cell became later.The movement of cell in the direction of flow is less affected by the initial angular velocity,it was mainly affected by fluid.Affected by the initial angular velocity,the displacement of cell in the direction of y axie would keep at a stable value after a time.(3)With larger initial angular velocity,the impact on movement of cell would greater.When the initial angular velocity was-500 rad / s arounded the x-axis,the the jump time and height of cell increased significantly.When the initial angular velocity was-500 rad / s,the movement of cell in y direction has concussion at early time.The results of this paper provided some reference for studying the rotational movement and deformation of cell in the blood.
