Objective: Angular pregnancy represents a small fraction of ectopic gestations. Angular pregnancy is defined as a gestational sac and fetus growing in the uterine cavity are located just medial to the uterotubal junction, in the angle of the uterine cavity. Several risk factors have been identified including pelvic inflammatory disease, a history of infertility, previous ectopic pregnancy, surgical history. Other factors, such as age, smoking, and obstetric history are also thought to be involved. Angular pregnancy differ from other ectopic pregnancy in that patients often do not complain of symptoms until catastrophic uterine rupture occurs .In the angular pregnancy myometrium surrounds the gestational sac, allowing it to enlarge painlessly for a relatively long time. In recent years the incidence of domestic and foreign literature reports of its upward trend, it is necessary to explore the rational and effective treatment. Based on the data of ten patients, explore the angular pregnancy in the early diagnosis, differential diagnosis and treatment. Methods: Angular pregnancy patients hospitalized in The Second Affiliated Hospital of Dalian Medical University from December 2001 to July 2008.The data of 10 patients, including age, history of pregnancy, anamnesis. Clinical manifestation, laboratorial results, imaging, and the course of diagnosis and treatment were reviewed. Results: The average age of these ten patients is 32.73. The first pregnancy: 2cases. Pelvic Infections: 1case, Ovarian Cyst: 1case, Adeno- myosis: 1case, UterineFibroids: 2cases. Lower abdominal pain: 6cases, Vaginal bleeding: 4cases, Shock: 4cases. The size of the ectopic pregnancy, presence of cardiac activity, and presence of free fluid are important features in triaging patients to surgery, medical treatment, or expectant management. Three patients were apprised of this diagnosis. They chose to proceed with uterine aspiration. Laparotomy: 7 cases. These reports of Pathology revealed: angular pregnancy. Conclusion: Angular pregnancy has completed symptoms and is easy to be misdiagnosed in early period. If there is a rupture of the angular pregnancy,it will cause severe bleeding and threaten life,so it is important to make early diagnosis and treatment. The advance in ultrasound diagnosis helps to achieve this goa1.According to different cases, some treatment methods can be adopted to treat corneal pregnancy. You must choose a method that has less damage, fastest recovery and best outcome. For cases with internal hemorrhage, Laparotomy is the best choice. Laparoscopy is less damage to human body and helps to improve the prognosis of the patients.
