PurposeUsing CBCT to measure the changing about the bottom of maxillary sinus and the height?width of alveolar ridge after extracting the tooth. Also observing the different changing about the bottom of maxillary sinus in different symptoms,in order to provide reference for clinical when doctors make the plain of the implantation.Materials and Methods1 Research objects64 patients who extract the molar of maxillary on one side but the other side are not missing were strictly selected as subjects. All of them take the CBCT before extracting the tooth and take it again after extracting the tooth three months later in Dental hospital of Henan province in 2015 and 2016.2 MethodThe patients were asked Medical history?checked the oral.Their information were recorded. The selected patients were checked by CBCT.All of them were asked to attend the clinic three months later. In order to reduce the error,we choose the special anatomical structure as a landmark to calibration CBCT images.Through measuring the variation of distance to study the changing about bottom of maxillary sinus and the height?width of alveolar ridge after extracting the tooththree months later.According to patients' gender, age, distance from the bottom of the sinus teeth, the reason of tooth extraction, the thickness of the bottom of the sinus mucosa, the shape of sinus form group and then analysis the differences.3 Data processingAll the experiment were tested three times and the average were used to calculate.Statistical analysis were performed by SPSS17.0 software. The mean or the mean ± standard deviation were indexes to describe the statistical part. Two sample mean t test were designed to compare the effect of sodium hyaluronate before and after treatment. The difference was considered significant when P<0.05.Results1?The method can be repeated. The data has significance in the test.2?Samplesinclude 34 males and 30 females,22~71 years old.1?After extracting tooth, the bottom of sinus moved toward to the alveolar ridge and the changed distance is(1.46 ± 0.32 mm in three months.2 ? According to the classification from Sharan and Madjar. In the experiment,we know that the closer the root from the bottom of the sinus, the easier changing of the bottom of the sinus.Type I changed(1.11±0.23)mmin three months;Type II changed(1.29±0.25)mmin three months;Type III changed(1.43±0.23)mm in three months;Type IV changed(1.68±0.17)mm in three months;Type V changed(1.87±0.32)mm in three months; After statistics analysis, type I with type II;type II with type III,type IV with V have no statistical difference between amount of change about the bottom of the sinus(p>0.05).Type I with type III?type IV?type V type II with type IV?type V and type III with type IV have statistical differences between amount of change at the bottom of the sinus(p<0.05).3?The patients' gender have no statistical difference between amount of change at the bottom of the sinus(p>0.05).In the experiment,20~30 years old were divided into the youth group,30~50 years old were divided into the middle-aged group, bigger than 50 years were divided into the old group. The youth with the middle-aged?the old have statistical difference between amount of change at the bottom of the sinus(p<0.05).The middle-aged with the old have statistical difference between amount of change at the bottom of the sinus(p>0.05).And the changing distance of the old(1.52±0.29)mm is bigger than the middle-aged(1.33±0.27)mm,the youth(1.91±0.22)mm is the biggest.4?In the group, different reasons of extracting tooth have no statistical difference between amount of change at the bottom of the sinus(p>0.05).The normal mucosa group with the unormal mucosa group have no statistical difference between amount of change at the bottom of the sinus(p>0.05).But the changing of normal mucosa group(1.51±0.31)mm is bigger than the unormal mucosa group(1.42±0.32)mm.According to the CBCT image,we classify the bottom of sinus as concavetype?flat type?convex type. The changing distance of concave type is(1.58±0.27)mm,the flat type is(1.48±0.22)mm,the convex type is(1.19±0.35)mm.The concave type is the easiest changing in all of them and the convex type is hard to change.Be compared to each other, there is statistical difference between amount of change at the bottom of the sinus(p<0.05).5?After extracting tooth, the width of the alveolar ridge is reduce.Pre-operation of the width is(13.15±1.61)mm,postoperative of the width is(11.38±1.63)mm.,they have significant statistically between amount of change at the bottom of the sinus.(p<0.05).The changing of alveolar ridge ' s height which in buccal side is(1.46±0.33)mm,the lingual side is :(0.86±0.30)mm.The changing in buccal side is bigger than the lingual side, there is statistical difference between of them.(p<0.05).Conclusion1?CBCT can measure the changing of the bone precisely. The experiment has better repeatability,reliability.2?After extracting tooth, the bottom of sinus moved toward to the alveolar ridge.3?The changing distance of the youth is the biggest changing in the youth?the middle-aged?the old groups. The old is bigger than the middle-aged.The patients' gender have no statistical differences between amount of change at the bottom of the sinus.4?The closer the root from the bottom of the sinus, the easier the changing of the bottom of the sinus. The reason of extracting tooth and the thickness of mucosa have no statistical differences between amount of change at the bottom of the sinus.5?The concave type is the easiest changing all of them and the convex type is hard to change. The type of the bottom of the sinus have statistical differences.6?After extracting tooth, the width of the alveolar ridge is reduce. The changing in buccal side is bigger than the lingual side.
