Objective:To study the status of human papillomavirus infection in male sexual partners of women diagnosed with HPV infection and the changes of lymphocyte subsets ?immunoglobulin and complement in male serum.Thereby to provide foundation for the prevention and immunotherapy of HPV transmission and the HPV-related diseases.Methods:110 male sexual partners of women with HPV infection were selected as the subjects, the epithelial cells of the urethral orifice and the peripheral blood were collected. All the subjects signed informed consent. In order to detect HPV infection and genotypes by PCR-reverse dot blot hybridization, and using flow cytometry to detect the percentage of lymphocyte subsets(CD3+,CD4+,CD8+,CD4+/CD8+,CD16+56+,CD19+),and using special protein analyzer immune scattering turbidimetry to detect the complement of serum immunoglobulin(IgG,IgA,IgM)and content(C3,C4).Using SPSS19.0 software for statistical analysis of the data.Results:1.Single subtype infection accounted for 61.82%(68/110),and multiple infection accounted for 38.18%(42/110)in female. The prevalence rate of HPV in male sexual partners of female patients with HPV infection was 33.64%(37/110),single subtype infection and multiple subtype infection accounted for 62.16%(23/37)?37.84%(14/37),respectively.2.There was significant statistical difference in occurrence frequency between high-risk and low-risk HPV subtypes among males and females(X2=4.040,P=0.044<0.05).3.The HPV coincidence rate was 54.05%(20/37)in sexual partners.4.There was no significant difference in peripheral blood immune index between the HPV negative group and positive group among asymptomatic males(P >0.05).5.There were significant differences in CD8+T cells and CD4+/CD8+ between High risk HPV and low-risk HPV(P <0.05);The immune indexes of peripheral bloodcells of the patients with multiple high risk infection changed greatly. There was a significant difference in IgM content between multiple high-risk group(1.50±0.42)and the single low-risk group(0.76±0.27).6.There was no significant difference in HPV infection rate between normal and abnormal immune group(P>0.05).Conclusions:1.Both HPV infected women and their male partners in the region were single and high-risk type HPV infection. And the risk of high risk HPV was higher in women than in men, while men were more likely to have lower risk of HPV.It could reduce HPV circulating infections among sexual partners through control male HPV infection.2.The immune function of peripheral blood in male patients with high risk of HPV infection is mainly characterized by cellular immune suppression, especially the multiple high risk infection.Serum IgM may play an important role in the early stage of HPV infection.
