Objective: To compare and analyse the short-term outcome of percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI)and coronary artery bypass grafting(CABG)in patients with multivessel coronary artery disease(MVD).Methods: 437 MVD patients who underwent PCI(n=225)or CABG(n=212)between Jan.2012 and Dec.2015 were included.Compare the rates of the first end point events including total death, cardiac death, myocardial infarction recurrence, cerebrovascular accident event, revascularization and major adverse cardiac and cerebrovascular accident(MACCA),and the second end point event including angina recurrence. Results: The rates of total death(4.9% VS 4.2%),cardiac death(3.6% VS 1.9%),cerebrovascular accident event(6.2% VS 5.2%)showed no differences between the two groups(P > 0.05).However,the PCI group had higher rate of myocardial infarction recurrence(4.0%),revascularization(19.1%),angina recurrence(30.2%)and MACCA(28.9%)compared with the CABG group(0.9%?1.4%?6.1%?10.4%)(P<0.05).Conclusion: The rate of death had no statistical difference between the PCI group and the CABG group. However, the rates of MACCA and revascularization showed higher in the PCI group. |
