Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease(COPD)is a common respiratory disease, persistent airflow limitation is its prominent features.Course of COPD is prolonged,it bring patients of COPD a lot of inconvenience in daily life with the further decline in lung function,it often to make people’ s health and life received a serious threat in the later stages of the disease. In the course of treatment, how to delay the decline of lung function, improve the quality of life is the most important treatment thing.Facing the current problems and dilemmas of modern medicine,it prompts us to actively seek new ways to treat COPD.At this time,Chinese medicine treatment highlights its efficacy, also shows its unique advantages. The autologous whole blood injection therapy combined with Western medicine treatment of COPD,received the unanimous recognition of patients. It provides a new option for the treatment of COPD,also has played a positive role in promoting Chinese medicine diagnosis and treatment technology. Therefore,to further explore the efficacy of autologous whole blood injection therapy is the main task of this study,to provide a strong basis for this therapy treating COPD.ObjectiveTo observe the effects of autologous whole blood acupoint injection therapy On stable patients with COPD.MethodsA randomized and controlled study was designed.74 stable Patients of COPD was randomly divided into two groups,a treatment group(n=37)And a controlled group(n=37),who were from 2 hospitals,Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Affiliated Shatou Hospital,Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine.Patients in treatment group were treated with western medicine treatment and autologous whole blood Acupoint injection therapy, while ones in controlled group only to accept western medicine treatment. After 12 weeks intervention, the difference of CAT,mMRC,6MWD,BMI in two groups were compared and analyzed.Results1.The general condition such as gender, age, cause of disease and Classification of airflow limitation,6MWD,CAT,mMRC and BMI were no statistically significant difference between the two groups before treatment, therefore the two groups were comparable.2.There was significant difference of 6MWD in both two groups between before and after treatment(P<0.05).There was no statistical difference after treatment between the two groups in 6MWD(P>0.05),but there was significant difference of 6MWD D-value before and after the treatment between two groups(P<0.05).3.Two groups of CAT scores were compared with the number of different measurements, suggesting that there was statistical significance between the number of different measurements(P<0.05),there was also a significant difference of the interaction effect of the two groups’ mean and different observation times(P<.0.05),whlie,there was no significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05).There were statistically significant differences compared CAT scores in three observation times in both groups(P<0.05).In the controlled group, there was significant difference after accepted theraphy in the fifty days and twelve weeks compared with before accepted treatment(P<0.01),and so was in treatment group(P<0.05).4.There was statistical difference of mMRC between the two groups when 50 days and twelve weeks and twelve weeks after treatment(P<0.05).There were statistically significant differences compared mMRC index in three observation times in both groups(P<0.05).There was also significant difference after accepted theraphy in the fifty days and twelve weeks compared with before accepted treatment in both two group of mMRC(P<0.05).5.There was significant difference in the BMI of treatment group between before and after treatment(P<0.05),and controlled group was not(P>0.05).There was no statistical difference after treatment between the two groups in BMI(P>0.05),also no in the BMI D-value before and after the treatment between two groups.6.There were no adverse events throughout the whole study period and 2 weeks of follow-up.ConclusionThe combination of autologous whole blood Acupoint injection therapy and conventional western medicine treatment can significantly increase 6MWD,reduce CAT score and mMRC score, simultaneously reveal that the effect wasobvious better than conventional western medicine treatment group..
