Methods: 180 cases of pathologically confirmed esophageal squamous cell carcinoma patients were collected the blood samples before surgery, and postoperative esophageal carcinoma and paracancerous tissues were collected. The expression detected by real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR, hsa-miR-21-5p and hsa-miR-375 in both tissue and blood samples; using paired chi-square test analysis of the differential expression of miRNAs in cancer and the adjacent tissues; using single factor analysis of variance in plasma miRNAs expression level in different ethnic groups. Results: the expression level is increased hsa-miR-21-5p in esophageal carcinoma tissues (P<0.05), esophageal squamous cell carcinoma tissues and the expression level. The expression level of has-miR-375 decreased than in adjacent tissue (P<0.05), no significant difference between the three nations. The plasma of Kazak and Uygur patients with esophageal squamous cell carcinoma that miR-21 expression level compared with the Han was higher (P < 0.05). Low expression and high expression of miR-21 miR-375 increased the risk of esophageal cancer, may affect the risk factors of esophageal cancer. Conclusion: miR-21 and miR-375 are involved in the occurrence and development of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma. miR-21, miR-375 may be a kind of potential tumor marker for early diagnosis of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma. | Keywords/Search Tags: | miR-21, miR-375, ESCC, esophageal cancer, Hazak, tumor marker | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
