Objective: To investigate the MRI and PET-CT diagnosis of hepatic alveolar echinococcosis(HAE)application value.Methods: the data of 14 patients with HAE confirmed by surgery and pathology were analyzed retrospectively by MR and PET-CT.14 cases of HAE patients were detected in all of the lesions,according to the Kodama classification of MRI was divided into 5 types,respectively,to observe the MRI and PET-CT manifestations,and according to the results of MRI and PET-CT on the biological activity of HAE lesions were qualitative assessment.The MRI and PET-CT results were analyzed by two rank(rank)variables,and the Kappa values were calculated.Results:(1)MRI showed that the mean diameter of the maximum diameter of HAE was about 14.59 cm.One lesion was categorized as type 1,9 as type 2,10 as type 3,10 as type4.(2)PET-CT : 30 HAE lesions,16 lesions showed 18 F fluorodeoxyglucose(18F-FDG)uptake in different degrees at the periphery of the lesion,including 1,2,3(20 lesions)a total of 15 lesions showed 18 F fluorodeoxyglucose(18F-FDG)uptake in different degrees,4 type 10 disease in the focus of 1 lesions showed 18 F fluorodeoxyglucose(18F-FDG)showed high uptake.A total of 30 lesions(Kappa=0.59,P<0.01)were consistent with the assessment of the biological activity of the lesions by MRI and PET-CT.Conclusion: there are no vesicles display based on MRI HAE can reflect the existence of biological activity. |
