Comparison Of Perioperative Complications Between One Stage Bilateral Total Hip Arthroplasty And Two Stage Bilateral Total Hip Arthroplasty For Adults With Bilateral High Hip Dislocation

Background: Comparison of perioperative complications between simultaneous and staged bilateral total hip arthroplasty foradult Hartofilakidis III developmental dysplasia of hip remains controversia I.Objective: To compare thePerioperative complications in patients undergoing simultaneous or staged bilateral total hip arthroplasty and evaluate the safety and Efficacy,So choose safe and effective operation method,Reduce the incidence of complications,Achieve more satisfactory clinical curative effect.Methods:57 patients underwent bilateral total hip arthroplasty in our hospital 2004-2015 year,26 patients were done as a one-stage procedure,whereas 31 patient were done in two-stage,total blood loss,transfusion requirement,preoperative and postoperative Harris hip score,hospital stay introperative and postoperative complication were compared,Result: No significant differences were found in age,gender,mean total blood loss,preoperative and postoperative Harris hip score,Total complcation,total hospitalization time of simultaneous group were lowewr than the two-stage groupe,the difference was statistically significant(p<0.05).transfusion rate of the simultaneous groupe was higher than staged groupe the difference was statistically significant(p<0.05).Conclusions: the simultaneous bilateral total hip arthroplastyhas the advantages of shorter hospital stay,while the staged bilateral total hip arthroplasty has the advantage to low complication.before the surgery doctor can carefully assess the patient's general condition,According to the specific circumstances of patients choose the surgical plan,And to actively prevent the occurrence of perioperative complications...
