Objective:To investigate the effects of modified incision dressing method in patients with tracheotomy,to improve the quality of nursing, reduce the risk of wound infection, increase patient comfort.method:According to clinical observation on patients with tracheotomy, clinical experiences of nursing experts, and literature review,we modified incision dressing method of tracheotomy.Observe the application effects of modified incision dressing method and traditional dressing method comparison. In this study,90 patients with tracheotomy during the ICU stay in Neurological Intensive Care Unit of Jilin University First Hospital from January to December in 2016,were selected as the observation group.Patients in the observation group received the modified tracheotomy incision dressing method.90 patients were selected as control group in the same department from January to August in 2015,who received traditional dressing method.Data and information of patients in both groups were recorded in < table of clinical research and case report >.The patients were followed up for 1th day(after 24 hours),7th day,14 th day,the indexes of tracheal incision, the infection rate of tracheal incision and the satisfaction index were recorded. All the data were analyzed by SPSS19.0 software. The quantitative data were described by the mean standard deviation, and the t test was used for comparison between groups. The qualitative data were described by frequency(ratio),and the chi square test were used for comparison between groups.Bilateral P<0.05 was statistically significant.Results:1.The incision index of observation group with modified incision dressing method at the 7th days,14 th days after tracheotomy was significantly better than the control group, the difference was statistically significant.(P<0.001,there are significant differences)2.The infection rate of tracheal incision in the observation group with modified incision dressing, was significantly lower than that of the control group at the 7th days,14 th days after tracheotomy, and the difference was statistically significant.(P<0.005)3.The patient satisfaction index in the observation group with modified incision dressing method was significantly better than the control group at the 7th days,14 th days after tracheotomy, the difference was statistically significant.(P<0.001)4.The average daily dressing change frequency, the average daily dressing change time in the observation group were lower than that of the control group, the average daily dressing cost in the observation group were higher than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant.(P<0.001)Conclusion:1.The implementation of modified incision dressing method can improve the incision index of tracheotomy patients and improve the quality of nursing care.2.The implementation of modified incision dressing can reduce the number of bacterial colonies around the incision and reduce the risk of wound infection.3.The implementation of modified incision dressing can improve the satisfaction index of patients with tracheotomy, increase the comfort of patients.4.The implementation of modified incision dressing can reduce the frequency of dressing change, and reduce the workload of nurses.5.The modified incision dressing method of tracheotomy can standardize the nursing care behavior of nurses, can improve the quality of nursing in patients with tracheotomy, which can be used in clinical practice. |
