Objective:This study was to investigate psychological and behavioral characteristics and its influencing factors in asthmatic children.To understand the psychological and behavioral characteristics and the psychological behavior problems which easy to appear in children with asthma,analysis its influencing factors.We hope that this researth can strengthen the asthmatic children and caregivers' knowledge of asthma,enhance asthma's home care management,to provide reliable clinical basis for psychological intervention and social support in asthmatic children's diagnosis and treatment process.Method:In this study,95 asthmatic children and 100 normal children were collected in the Second Affiliated hospital of Jilin University from September 2014 to December 2016.And asked their caregivers to administer a questionnaire of general information and Child Behavior Checklist.All data were analyzed by statistical package for social science(SPSS 21.0).Statistical methods included one-sample t-test,chi-square test,analysis of variance and logistic regression analysis,then analysed and discussed the results.Result:1.Children with asthma have higher scores in terms of retreat,physical complaints,social problems,anxiety / depression,aggressive behavior and disciplinary behavior than normal children,and the activity and social ability scores were lower than those of normal children.2.Factors influencing the psychological and behavioral characteristics of asthmatic children were gender,age,duration of disease,classification of illness,family habits,smoking of family members,parental education,family type and place of residence.3.The detection rate of the psychological and behavioral problems in asthmatic children was 35.79%,which was significantly higher than that in the control group(11.00%),and the difference was statistically significant(p <0.001).4.Asthmatic children with psychological and behavioral problems' factors included age,the number of children in the family,family habits,mother's education,the type of family,place of residence,duration of disease,classification of illness.5.The results of Logistic regression analysis showed that,asthmatic children with psychological and behavioral risk factors are school-age and the condition is severe;the protection factors are non-only child,mother's education for high school,technical secondary school and undergraduate and above.Conclusion:1.Children with asthma were more likely to appear in terms of retreat,social problems,physical complaints,anxiety / depression,aggressive behavior and disciplinary behavior than normal children,and the activity and social ability scores were lower than those of normal children.2.Factors influencing the psychological and behavioral characteristics of asthmatic children were gender,age,duration of disease,classification of illness,family habits,smoking of family members,parental education,the type of family and place of residence.3.Children with asthma are more likely to have psychological and behavioral problems than normal children.4.Asthmatic children with psychological and behavioral risk factors were school-age and the condition is severe;the protection factors are non-only child,mother's education for high school,technical secondary school and undergraduate and above.
