Clinical Efficacy And Safety Of Statins In Elderly Patients With Coronary Heart Diseases

BackgroundCoronary heart disease(CHD)is a common cardiovascular disease in the elderly population.CHD can cause angina pectoris,arrhythmia,heart failure and other symptoms.Patients who do not receive effective treatment may have sudden death and other dangerous events.Along with the population aging in our country,the incidence of CHD continues to increase.It has become the primary problem threatening the survival of elderly population in china.Statins are the first choice for the treatment of elderly patients with CHD.ObjectiveThe purpose of this study was to investigate the clinical efficacy and safety of different types of statins in the treatment of elderly patients with CHD.Aimed at providing clinical reference for the use of statins in the treatment of elderly patients with CHD.Materials and methodsIn this study,300 elderly patients with CHD were randomly divided into two groups,each group of 150 cases.After three months of treatment with lovastatin and atorvastatin,to compare the efficacy and safety of the two groups.ResultsThe use of statins can effectively reduce the total cholesterol(mmol/L),fasting blood glucose(mmol/L),C sensitive protein(mmol/L)and low density lipoprotein(mmol/L)index in the blood of elderly patients with CHD.It can produce less adverse drug reactions.It is a safe and effective treatment.ConclusionIn conclusion,we can use different types of statins for symptomatic treatment in the clinical treatment of elderly patients with CHD.Different types of statins can reduce blood lipids,improve the patient's cardiovascular function,reduce the incidence of coronary heart disease in a short period of time.It is worth popularizing in the elderly patients with CHD.
