Clinical Observation Of Treating Refractory Facial Palsysis With Fire Needle And Opposing Needling

Objective:To observe the curative effect of fire-needle and opposing needling for refractory facial paralysis so as to provide a more simple,convenient and effective treatment for clinical treatment of refractory facial paralysis.Methods:According to the diagnostic criteria,a total of 60 cases were randomly allocated into a treatment group and a control group,with 30 cases in each independent group.Both groups of cases were treated in accordance with the routine acupuncture.The treatment group used the fire-needle and the opposing needling.The control group used the routine acupuncture only.The therapeutic effects were evaluated using the FNGS2.0(Facial Nerve Grading System 2.0)and the RPA(Reform Portmann Scale),and compared after two courses of treatment(eight weeks).The information was collected and sorted into SPSS 22.0 statistical software for statistical analysis,and the results were analyzed descriptively.Results:1.To compare FNGS 2.0:The treatment group is 26,while the control group 35.The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).2.To compare RPA:The treatment group is 13.47±5.818,while the control group 9.43±5.776.The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).3.The treatment group had 86.67%overall effective rate,while the control group 76.67%.The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:Both the fire-needle combine the opposing needling and the routine acupuncture are efficient for treating refractory facial paralysis,and the fire-needle combine the opposing needling has a higher overall effective rate.
