Objective With the transformation of medical model and the development of social economy,medical education faces new challenges.This study is based on the WFME recognition criteria,using the relevant theories as a guide.The official website information survey,literature research method,comparative research method and questionnaire survey method have been used,and we analyzed the advantages and disadvantages of the accreditation system of clinical medicine in our country.Above all,hope to provide references and recommendations in the development and improvement in accreditation system of China.Methods1.The official website information survey: Visit the official websites of WFME,CAAM-HP,TEPDAD,LCME and the official website of the working committee for the Accreditation of Medical Education of the Ministry of Education,and obtain relevant information and process the information2.Literature research method: Retrieve Chinese and English database,including CNKI,Wanfang database,Pub Med and Web of Science,and use accreditation,medical education accreditation,clinical medicine accreditation,medical accreditation,accrediting body,accreditation system as the key words to access literature about accreditation to understand the progress of research in this field and to support the implementation of this study.3.Comparative research method: Compare the accrediting agencies which are recognized by WFME and WCAME,and compare the differences between WFME recognition criteria and WCAME.4.Questionnaire survey method: We design the questionnaire based on literature research,comparative research and "China undergraduate medical education standards--clinical medicine(2016)".A questionnaire survey was conducted among teachers of three medical university.5.Statistical analysis: The missing values were filled by median.Using SPSS19.0 and Stata13.0 statistical software for statistical analysis of data.The reliability and validity of the questionnaire were analyzed,descriptive statistical analysis,t test and regression analysis were used.Result1.Comparison of CAAM-HP,TEPDAD,LCME,WCAMEBackground: CAAM-HP,TEPDAD,LCME are all third party institutions,WCAME is under the Ministry of Education;Accreditation standards: the four agencies all update the accreditation standards regularly,the areas of accreditation standards are basically similar,but the content and the degree of refinement are different;accreditation process,four agencies' accreditation process is consistent.CAAM-HP,LCME and TEPDAD attach importance to the role of students;policy and resources: the four accreditation agencies all develop a policy of conflict of interest control.2.Comparison results between WCAME and WFME recognition criteriaWCAME is set up by the Ministry of Education,not a third party institution,no higher recognized institutions for its recognition.The development of accreditation standards is based on the international medical education standards,and then localized.China clinical accreditation agency process as a whole follow the WFME recognized standards.During accreditation process,implement the certification to avoid conflicts of interest.The clinical medical accreditation database has been established to save and handle the relevant information.3.A questionnaire survey of three university teachersThe Cronbach's alpha coefficient of the questionnaires of importance evaluation is 0.93.The results show that the questionnaire' reliability is good.Results of exploratory factor analysis shows that the questionnaire has good structural validity.The result of the t test shows that the teachers who are from the school preparing for certification have higher evaluation of the importance of items.Regression analysis shows that the teacher's age,education,working years,titles and types of work influenced teachers' evaluation of the importance of the items.Conclusion1.CAAM-HP,TEPDAD,LCME,WCAME four agencies have common in the background,accreditation standards,accreditation process,policy and resources,but also there are some differences.2.WCAME basically meet the WFME recognition criteria,some aspects are still different.3.Accreditation can change teachers' awareness of education and management.The teacher's evaluation of the items in schools with different accreditation states is different.Meanwhile,the teacher's age,education,working years,titles and types of work also affect the importance of the evaluation results.
