Backgrounds and Objective:Lung cancer is one of the most common malignant tumors that threaten human health, which is a high mortality rate of the disease on a global scale.Squamous cell carcinoma and adenocarcinoma are the two most common histological types in non-small cell lung cancer, respectively accounted for 30%and 50%.Squamous cell carcinoma is the most common pathological type in men with lung cancer.Adenocarcinoma is the most common pathological type in women. The age of the disease is younger and the majority is non-smokers.Female lung squamous cell carcinoma accounts for about 10%of squamous cell carcinoma, although the incidence of female lung squamous cell carcinoma is low,but the number of large population in China is still large number of patients.Although the overall level of smoking in Chinese women lower than Europe and the United States and other countries. It suggests that there are other important risk factors except smoking.Female lung cancer has its own characteristics.EGFR detection is widely recognized in the diagnosis of lung adenocarcinoma, and most studies suggest that EGFR mutations are controversial in simple lung squamous cell carcinoma. There is no simple analysis of women's lung squamous cell carcinoma from the information currently available. Is the clinical characteristics of female and male lung squamous cell carcinomas similar?Female lung squamous cell carcinoma gene mutation and prognosis related factors need to be further clarified. This study was to investigate the clinical characteristics and prognostic factors of women, and to provide theoretical basis for the precaution and long-term curative effect evaluation for female with lung squamous cell carcinoma.Material and Methods:A retrospective analysis of clinical datas of 150 women patient with Squamous Cell Lung Cancer in the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from June 2011 to September 2016;And the follow-up visit on prognosis.Using statistical methods to analyze the clinical characteristics and prognostic factors.Kaplan-Meier method was used to analyze the single factor and then Log-rank inspection;COX model was used to analyse the multiariate factors.RESULTS:Patients ages arranged from 22 to 83 years,an average of 61.14±11.88 years, and a median age of 63 years old. There are 3 cases of smoking history,60.0%(90/150)of patients showed cough and expectoration as the first symptom;Stage IIIB of + IV(advanced cancer)accounted for 56.0%.The thoracic CT-guided percutaneous puncture of the lungs was 68.7%.EGFR gene test positive accounted for 38.0%.Combined with cancerous pleural and anhydrous group 36 cases, combined with cancerous pericardial effusion in 10 cases,Lung squamous cell carcinoma occurred in distant organ metastasis in 78 cases,Targeted anti-tumor therapy in 93 cases, accounting for 62.0%.57 patients were given targeted anti-tumor therapy. The median survival time was 0.7.53.0 months, the median survival time was 16.0 months, the average survival time was 19.5 months(95%CI 17.701?21.997),The 1-year cumulative survival rate was 62.3%,the 2-year cumulative survival rate was 32.8%,the 3-year cumulative survival rate was 15.0%,the 4-year cumulative survival rate was 1.5%,and the 5-year cumulative survival rate was 0%.KM had statistically significant prognostic factors including age greater than 65 years,PS0-1 points, tumor staging, combined with pleural effusion, pericardial effusion, for anti-tumor therapy, surgical treatment, chemotherapy cycle, radiotherapy and chemotherapy, postoperative chemotherapy, comprehensive Treatment,COX multi-factor results showed:PS score, pericardial effusion, chemotherapy cycle number of three factors that affect the prognosis of patients with independent factors,Conclusions:1.Most female lung squamous cell carcinoma patient saw a doctor for respiratory symptoms as cough, sputum, hemoptysis and so on,the symptoms are not specific.2.There was no significant correlation between pathogenesis and active smoking.3.EGFR gene detection is higher than men with lung squamous cell carcinoma, the most is in advanced tumor.4.The median overall survival of women with lung cancer was 16 months.5.Age is greater than 65 years old, tumor staging, combined with pleural effusion, for anti-tumor therapy, surgical treatment, radiotherapy and chemotherapy, postoperative chemotherapy, comprehensive treatment and prognosis.6.PS score, pericardial effusion, the number of chemotherapy cycles is the impact of the prognosis of the three independent factors.
