| Objective: To observe the effect of intermittent cold treatment on pain and Range of Motion after total knee arthroplasty. Methods: 60 cases of unilateral total knee arthroplasty(TKA)patients were randomly divided into experimental group 30 cases and control group 30 cases, experimental group was injected by the "cocktail",patient-controlled analgesia with epidural analgesia pump,Oral nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug analgesia, application of an intermittent cold treatment after operation, the control group was not given an intermittent cold treatment after operation, the other treatments were the same as those in the treatment group. Two groups of patients were recorded before operation,6h,24 h,48h,72h(VAS)after operation;motion pain score of knee joint before surgery, postoperative 1D,2D,3D,1W(Range of Motion,ROM),6h,24 h,48h all bloody drainage amount postoperative, complications and patient satisfaction after surgery. Results: Based on the experimental group and the control group before operation, postoperative motion VAS score, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);The difference in range of motion between the two groups was statistical significance(P<0.05);The difference in drainage of 6h,24 h,48h postoperation was statistically significant(P<0.05).Based on two groups of patients with complications, two were no related complications. The satisfaction rate of two groups, experimental group satisfaction rate was 93.33%,the control group satisfaction rate was 83.33%,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion: Intermittent cold treatment can be effectively improve the artificial knee joint postoperative pain, swelling, improve joint mobility, with little adverse reaction, the clinical advantages of high satisfaction, has the advantages of low cost, simple operation, definite curative effect, was worthy of recommendation in TKA after operation. |
