A Study On Compatibility Principles Of Anti-tumor Prescriptions Containing Traditional Chinese Marine Medicine

Objective: To implement data mining of anti-tumor prescriptions which contain traditional Chinese marine medicine by the Traditional Chinese Medicine Inheritance Support System(V2.5)combined with computer technology,and focus on the systematical analysis by using of Traditional Chinese Medicine Theory,the compatibility of prescription and other related knowledge,aim to reveal the compatibility principles of anti-tumor prescriptions containing traditional Chinese marine medicine and provide basis for the scientific and reasonable use of Chinese marine medicine in clinical practice.Methods: To collect data from Chinese medicine books Marine Medicine and Effective Prescription(? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?),Chinese Marine Materia Medica(????????),Chinese Dictionary of Marine Medicine(??????????),Chinese Materia Medica(??????),Anti-Cancer Research and Clinical Application of Chinese medicine(?????????????),etc,and the data from the effective prescriptions in coastal area,the literature of anti-tumor prescription containing Chinese marine medicine in CNKI,VIP,Wangfang from the time of these databases establishment to November 2016.Then to screen the standard prescriptions and type into the Excel data sheet according to the prescription name,source,efficacy,indication,composition,etc,after standardized arrangement,input to the traditional Chinese medicine inheritance support system(V2.5),build a database of anti-tumor prescription containing Chinese marine medicine.Finally to analyze the medicine frequency and rules of the prescription, potential new prescription,four properties,five tastes,meridian distribution,toxic drugs,specific characteristics of tumor drug information,etc,by use of data mining methods in the support system,improved mutual information,association rule,complex system entropy clustering and so on.Results:(1)In this study,251 anti-tumor prescriptions containing Chinese marine medicine were collected,involving 417 traditional Chinese medicine,with 2930 times frequency of usage in total.(2)There were 23high-frequency drugs(the frequency of occurrence is greater than 10% of the total number of prescriptions),including oysters,seaweed,kelp,Prunella vulgaris,astragalus,angelica,Oldenlandia,curcuma zedoary,Radix liquiritiae,Pinellia ternata,etc.There are 20 kinds of Chinese medicine categories,the high-frequency medicines were for clearing away heat,tonic,eliminating phlegm,promoting blood flow to remove stasis,calm the liver to stop endogenous wind,inducing dieresis and eliminating dampness,promoting flow of Qi.(3)The medicine properties of the prescriptions were mainly cold,warm and flat.The taste were mainly bitter,acrid,sweet and salty.The meridian distribution were mainly liver,lungs,stomach,spleen,kidney and heart.(4)There were 58 toxic drugs in total,the frequency of usage accounted for 14.39%.(5)Association rules analysis concluded that there were 11 groups of commonly used drug combinations,including seaweed-kelp,pangolin-oysters,seaweed-O-yster-Prunella,Turtle-oyster,Astra galus-oyst-er,etc.Entropy clustering analysis concluded that there were 12 groups of potential drug combination and 6 new prescriptions.(6)There are 8high-frequency cancer,followed by thyroid tumors,lung cancer,liver cancer,uterine fibroids,nasopharyngeal carcinoma,esophageal cancer,gastric cancer,mammary cancer.(1)The core drugs of thyroid tumors were:kelp-seaweed;selfheal-seaweed;oyster-seaweed;kelp-oyster-seaweed.(2)The core drugs of lung cancer were: Radix ophiopogonis-oyster;Herba hedyotis-oyster;Selfheal-oyster;Cordatehouttuynia-oyster;Selfheal-herba-hedy otis-oyster.(3)The core drugs of liver cancer were:turtleshell-oyster;turmeric-oyster;bighead atractylodes rhizome-oyster.(4)The core drugs of uterine fibroids are: Rhizoma sparganii-oyster;Rhizoma cyperi-oyster;Zedoary-Oyster-Rhizoma sparganii;Zedoary-Rhizoma cyperi-oyster.(5)The core drugs of nasopharyngeal carcinoma are:Honeysuckle-kelp;Honeysuckle-seaweed;selfheal-seaweed-kelp.(6)The core drugs of esophageal cancer are:Oysters-reddle;Gecko-concha arcae;Selfheal-clove-jixingzi-concha arcae.(7)The core drugs of gastric cancer are:Bletilla striata-concha arcae;Astragalus mongholicus-concha arcae;seaweed-oyster;Dried tangerinepeel-oyster;Dried tangerine peelselfheal-oyster.(8)The core drugs of Mammary cancer are: the seed of cowherb-oyster;Oyster-bupleurum-bupleurum;Tricho-santhes-oyster;sinensisoyster;Oyster-liquorice.Conclusions:The compatibility principles of anti-tumor prescriptions containing traditional Chinese marine medicine are that traditional Chinese marine medicine seaweed,oysters,kelp are compatible for clearing away heat and toxins,tonic,promoting circulation,promoting blood flow to remove stasis,etc.Entropy clustering analysis concluded potential drug combinations and new prescriptions,mainly contained medicine for softening and resolving stasis,promoting blood circulation to remove blood stasis,clearing away heat and toxins,regulating qi and resolving phlegm,tonifying liver and kidney.The efficacy and mechanism need to be further studied.The anti-tumor prescriptions containing traditional Chinese marine medicine are mainly used in treating thyroid tumors;different therapeutic effects can be achieved by different medicine compatibility.There are rules to follow in cancer treatment with traditional Chinese marine medicine,the application of traditional Chinese marine medicine in the field of anti-tumor needs to be expanded,and the future development prospect is broad and bright.
