Objective:To provide the anatomic parameters and CT data of adolescents about knee joints for the tibial tuberosity-trochlear groove distance and provide reference for diagnoses and treatment of patellar instability and operation of tibial tubercle shift in Chinese.Methods:16to25years volunteer were recruited to do a check of CT on knees in August2013to November2013,and analysed the data. Results:One hundred healthy volunteers (50males,50females) were recruited. In the200knees the normal TT-TG distance is15.86±3.52mm and17.03±3.34mm in the right knee,14.69±3.32mm in the left knee. The intra-observer reliability with the two observers are0.951and0.962,and inter-observer reliability is0.981between them. There are significant difference between right·and left knee(P<0.05).The TT-TG is15.98±4.10mm in males and15.44±3.68mm in females. There are no significant difference between males and females(P>0.05). There are no significant difference between different age and no significant difference between Chinese and foreigner. The TT-TG is19.82±4.89mm in patients of patellar instability. There are significant difference between normal and patient(P<0.05).There are not correlation of TT-TG to quadriceps angle in normal volunteers, and are negative linear relationship correlation of TT-TG to quadriceps angle in patients of patellar instability. Conclusion:CT is a reliable method of measurement for the TT-TG. The TT-TG in Chinese showed difference compared with westerners. This study preliminarily established TT-TG parameter values in Chinese.
