| Objective:To compare the healing rate and incidence of complications between the direct suture and repair with patch after resecting abdominal wall endometriosis. Methods: 67 patients were enrolled into the study and randomized into two groups:direct suture group and repair with patch group.Every group was divided into two conditions:defect less than or equal to 4cm and greater than 4cm.The incision healing rate, early complication and poor prognosis rate were compared. Results: All patients finished the surgical operations. In repair with patch group, the class A healing rate was 96.88%,the early complication rate was 6.25%,late complication rate was 15.63%,which were better than 85.71%,14.29% and 28.57% in direct suture group(P>0.05).Under the condition of the defect less than or equal to 4cm,in repair with patch group, the class A healing rate, early complication rate were 100%,9.09%,which were better than 94.44%,11.11% in the other group(P >0.05).Under the condition of the defect greater than 4cm,the class A healing rate were 95.24%,76.47%;the early complication rate were 4.76%,17.65%;the late complication rate were 14.29%,47.06%(P > 0.05).The incidences of incisional hernia, sense of tension and swelling in repair with patch group were significantly better than the other group.(P<0.05).Conclusion: The application of patch after resecting abdominal wall endometriosis can significantly improve the effect on repairing the abdominal wall defect.,In the case of abdominal wall defect 4 cm or less, more economic, traditional suture has no obvious postoperative rejection risk, suggest that clinical promotion, and in the case of abdominal wall defect greater than 4cm.It is a ideal therapy for repairing the abdominal wall defect, and is worthy to be promoted. |
