The Experiments Of The Three Methods On Battle Wound Defect Of The Animal Abdominal Wall

Aim:To explore the method for repairing large defect of abdominal wall from battle wound.Methods:1. A canine model of open abdominal injury was established. Fify-four health adult dogs were randomly divided into three groups. One group was repaired with acellular dermis matrices(ADM), Another group was repaired with polypropylene mesh(PPM), and the other one was repaired with traditional repaired method.2.1months, 3 months, 6 months after treatment, samples from the wound of three groups were collected respectively, microstructures and strength of extension were surveyed; in addition, scanning ultrastructures were surveyed from samples of ADM and PPM groups respectively.Results:1. all wounds were not ruptured, the interior surfaces of wound were bonding with viscera in PPM group, but not in ADM group.2. microstructure examination showed that ADM repaired method was more favourable to the growth of fibrobast and microblood vessels than repaired method and traditional repaired method, after 6 months all ADM were replaced with fibrobast and microblood vessels in ADM group; Inflammatory cells were seen in PPM group during 1-6 month; A number of scar could be seen in traditional repaired method group, wound recovery time was longer than ADM group.3. By scanning electromicroscopy. We found that ADM repaired method was more favourable to the proliferation of collagen fiber, ADM was finally replaced with collagen fiber, PPM could be seen in PPM group during 1-6 month, wound recovery time was longer than ADM group.4. The examination for strength of extension showed that strength of extension of wound from ADM repaired method was strongest among three groups during 1-3 months, that from PPM group was stronger than that from traditional repaired method.Conclusion:ADM repaired method is best among the three repaired method.
