Observation Of Curative Effect Of Utlilizing Ribavirin Aerosol In Aid Therapy Of Capillary Bronchitis

Objective capillary bronchitis is a kind of infectious disease of low respiratory tract commonly seen in infantile period and mainly with capillary bronchial lesions.The vulnerable population is infants aged below two especially those aged from two to six months with high attack.Ribavirin has also been widely applied as a kind of broad-spectrum antiviral agent.Beside intravenous administration,aerosol inhalation has been gradually applied recently,however,with disputes on its curative effect.In order for discussing the curative effect of Ribavirin Aerosol in aid therapy of capillary bronchitis,this paper selects 106 cases of infant patients and observes whether there are adverse reactions in the curative effect of Ribavirin Aerosol in aid therapy of capillary bronchitis.Methods selecting 106 cases of infant patients of capillary bronchitis admitted to Department of Pediatrics of No.2 People's Hospital of Fuyang City from January,2011 to December,2013,classifying into treatment group(56 cases)and control group(50 cases)according to whether to administer Ribavirin aerosol.There are no significant differences(p>0.05)in terms of age,sex,course of disease and others for these two groups of infant patients.The two groups are comparable.These two groups of infants are both under comprehensive therapy of controlling asthma,oxygen therapy,resisting infection,combined application of salbutamol sulfate,budesonide and isoprolpyl bromide amine liquid for aerosol inhalation and others.For treatment group in the following,administer Ribavirin aerosol to spray the mouth for 3 to 5d treatment course.Compare the time of disappearance and effectiveness of coughing,asthma,wheezing rale and moist crackles of two groups of infant patients.The measurement data are represented by + s and testing by t.Enumeration data are represented by percentage,and x2 is adopted to compare the rates.The difference of p<0.05 is of statistical significance.Results The total effective rate of treatment group is 92.9%,that of control group is 74%.The comparison between groups is of statistical significance(P<0.05).The times of disappearance in asthema(3.16±1.54 and 4.84±1.96),coughing(4.93±1.09and 7.52±1.20),wheezing rale(4.58±1.49 and 6.59±1.21),moist crackles(5.41±1.25 and 6.92±1.98)and others are all shorter than those of control group.The comparison between these two groups is of statistical significance(P<0.05).In administration,no adverse reactions such as anemia and others are found.Conclusions Utilizing Ribavirin aerosol in aid therapy of capillary bronchitis is certain to have positive curative effect.It can shorten the time of disappearance of symptoms and signs,improve curative effect to be effective method to treat this disease.The administration is simple,easily done,acceptable and worthy of promotion.
