Background China has a high burden of tuberculosis. The incidence of tuberculosis accounted for 25% of the world, ranked second in the world, next only to India.Tuberculosis is an infectious disease. When people inhaled the droplets containing Mycobacterium tuberculosis, they could be infected with tuberculosis(TB).Diabetes patients with low immunity who more easily infected with Mycobacterium tuberculosis, and they are the high risk population.Pulmonary tuberculosis complicated with diabetes mellitus is a chronic wasting disease. The clinical symptoms are severe, the lung lesions are complex, and the prognosis is poor.It is a serious hazard to human health. So the exploration for effective treatment and less adverse reactions has become a clinical problem. Objective To investigate the short-term efficacy and safety of pulmonary tuberculosis complicated with type 2 diabetes mellitus which with different chemotherapy regimens with in 1 years of treatment. In order to explore more reasonable and effective anti tuberculosis treatments and to open up new ways and to make a breakthrough at certain points for the future development of new anti tuberculosis treatments,so that bring the gospel to the patients and do the efforts to eradicate tuberculosis. Methods 120 patients with diagnosed pulmonary tuberculosis complicated with type 2diabetes from January 2013 to June 2015 in Maanshan No.4 People's hospital were randomly divided into A,B and C groups.Three groups were given different treatment options,Group A with 3HRELfx/9HR therapy,Group B with 3HREZ/9HR therapy and Group C with 3HREZLfx/9HR therapy.H,E,R,Z and Lfx respectively represent isoniazid, ethambutol, rifampicin, pyrazinamide and levofloxacin. And observed the effect of three groups of anti-tuberculosis and drug adverse reactions. Results The results of anti-tuberculosis treatment showed that there was no significant difference between group A and group B(P>0.05).The rate of sputum negative conversion and total absorption rate of group C was significantly better than that of group A and B in 1 to 3 months after treatment(P<0.05),but there was no significant difference at 3 months after treatment(P>0.05).The incidence of drug adverse reactions in group B and C was significantly higher than that in group A(P<0.01),however,there were no statistically significant differences between group B and group C(P>0.05).Conclusion The incidence rate of adverse anti-TB drug reactions is high in pulmonary tuberculosis patients with complication of type 2 diabetes mellitus. The group of levofloxacin combined with pyrazinamide can accelerate the transformation of sputum negative and focal absorption, but the incidence of drug adverse reactions is the lowest in group of levofloxacin, which can be selected according to the specific situation. Then choose an appropriate individualized treatment regimen.
