Object:To investigate whether telomere length of peripheral blood leukocytes is associated with atherosclerotic cerebral infarction,And to further explore its relevance to the stability of atherosclerotic plaques. Methods:According to China's professor Gao shan cerebral infarction caused by the classification.selected from 2015 December to 2016 September xx hospital neurology ward admitted of anterior circulation large artery atherosclerosis of within 72 hours of onset 70 case patients as case group. At the same period,68 healthy people who were matched by the gender age were selected from XX hospital physical examination center as control group.Detailed record of general information and hematology data of the group. All group subjects in secnod morning were collected fasting venous blood 2ml.The telomere length of peripheral blood leukocytes in the case group and the control group was determined by real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR.All the patients were examined and analyzed in detail in the anatomy and pathological types of carotid atherosclerotic plaques by two dimensional color Doppler ultrasound instrument.According to the results of ultrasound,70 patients with anterior circulation acute atherosclerotic acute cerebral infarction were divided into unstable carotid atherosclerotic plaque group(40 cases)and stable carotid atherosclerotic plaque group(30 cases).Comparison of the case group and the control group of peripheral blood leukocyte telomere length whether there are differences,At the same time, whether there are differences between the stable plaque group and the unstable plaque groupResults:1.There was a significant statistical difference in the telomere length of peripheral blood leukocytes between the case group and the control group. The telomere length of peripheral blood leukocytes in the case group was significantly shorter than that in the control group.2.There was a statistical difference in the telomere length of peripheral blood leukocytes between unstable plaque group and stable plaque group. The telomere length of peripheral blood leukocytes in unstable plaque group was shorter than that in stable plaque groupConclusions:1.There was a correlation between telomere length in peripheral blood leukocytes and large atherosclerotic cerebral infarction.Telomere length of peripheral blood leukocyte may be a biological marker for predicting acute atherosclerotic cerebral infarction.2.It was found that the telomere length of peripheral blood leukocytes may be related to the stability of plaque. This may be the mechanism of promoting the occurrence of atherosclerotic cerebral infarction.
