Rules Of Acupoints Selection Based On The Literatures Of Acupuncture And Moxibut Ion In Treating Chemotherapy-induced Vomiting

ObjectiveTo preliminarily investigate the rules of acupoint selection of acupuncture and moxibustion for the treatment of chemotherapy-induced vomiting and explore the effective treatment of vomiting after chemotherapy prescriptions for reference,in order to guide clinical,raise the clinical curative effect of acupuncture treatment of vomiting after chemotherapy and work efficiency,we retrospected clinical literatures about acupuncture and moxibustion treatment of chemotherapy-induced vomiting published in domestic journals of recent 10 years.MethodWith acupuncture treatment methods of acupuncture,acupuncture,moxibustion,acupuncture,cupping,fire,embedded wire,acupoint injection,attach,sticking as subject headings and text word search,chemotherapy-induced vomiting as disease term,we made full use of literatures search engine and computer network database and a variety of journals,collected relevant literatures of clinical studies on acupuncture and moxibustion for the treatment of chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting published from 2006 to 2016 in CNKI,VIP and Wanfang databases strictly accordance with the keywords and literatures search term,and then screened out effective literatures according to the inclusion criteria.The research downloaded the clinical paper that fit the standard,and analyzed by Excel to carry on the statistics on the use frequency of acupoints,meridian distribution,anatomical distribution of acupuncture points and acupoints attributes,acupuncture and moxibustion prescription of different syndrome types in the paper and summarized the rules of acupoints selection of acupuncture and moxibution in treating chemotherapy-induced vomiting.ResultThrough searching on CNKI,VIP and Wanfang databases strictly accordance with the keywords and literatures search term,148 papers were enrolled,but 55 of them failed to meet the inclusion criteria:2 repeated 2 literatures,15 reports of animal experimental study,10 single case reports,17 review literatures,11 other kinds of literatures.In the end,93 valid literatures meeting the inclusion criteria papers were collected.In the study,we were informed that in recent 10 years,32 normal acupoints were used in the acupuncture and moxibustion prescription for chemotherapy-induced vomiting in clinic.The total frequency of acupoint is 484.The the top 12 acupoints of the 32 normal acupoints used in the acupuncture and moxibustion prescription for chemotherapy-induced vomiting are Zusanli(??? ST36),Neiguan(??PC6),Zhongwan(?? CV12),Gongsun(?? SP4),Shenque(?? CV8)?Sanyinjiao(??? SP6)?Geshu(?? BL17)?Hegu(?? LI4)?Shangjuxu(??? ST37)?Pishu(?? BL20)?Guanyuan(?? CV4)?Qihai(?? CV6).In the study,we also learned that in recent 10 years,acupuncture and moxibustion prescription for chemotherapy-induced vomiting in clinic covered 9 meridians(7 in the twelve meridians,Conception vessel,Governor vessel),among which the conception vessel ranked highest,which was followed by the Stomach meridian,Pericardium meridian,the Spleen meridian,the Bladder meridian.The law of anatomical distribution of acupuncture points:The points used most frequently were in lower limbs(39.67%),followed by abdmen-thorax(27.69%),upper limbs(21.28%),the small of the back(11.16%),the head(0.20%).The study showed that in recent 10 years,special acupoints were used frequently in acupuncture and moxibustion prescription for chemotherapy-induced vomiting,in which luo-connecting points,eight-extra meridian confluent points,five shu points,lower sea points of the six bowels,front-mu points,back shu points were commonly applied.Syndrome differentiation rule:There were mainly 6 patterns of syndrome seen in the articles enrolled.According to the frequency of occurrence,deficiency-cold in spleen and stomach syndrome ranked highest,followed by Qi deficiency and blood stasis,stomach Yin deficiency syndrome,liver depression and qi stagnation syndrome,phlegm retention stops stomach,food stagnation gastrointestinal syndrome in turns.ConclusionBy studying clinical literatures about acupuncture and moxibustion treatment of chemotherapy-induced vomiting published in domestic journals of recent 10 years,we found that doctors treating chemotherapy-induced vomiting by acupuncture attached great importance to syndrome differentiation and treatment.Deficiency-cold in spleen and stomach syndrome was the most common syndrome in patients of chemotherapy-induced vomiting.And the meridians as well as acupoints mainly with the functions of strengthening and invigorating,regulating qi for harmonizing stomach,calming the adverse-rising energy to prevent vomiting were mainly applied in the acupuncture and moxibustion prescription for chemotherapy-induced vomiting in clinic.We ultimately came to the conclusions as followed:(1)The main acupoints applied in the acupuncture and moxibustion prescription for chemotherapy-induced vomiting:Zusanli(??? ST36),Neiguan(?? PC6),Zhongwan(?? CV12),Gongsun(?? SP4)(2)The rules of the selection of the acupoints in treating chemotherapy-induced vomiting:the meridians selected were mainly conception vessel,Stomach meridian,Pericardium meridian,the Spleen meridian,the Bladder meridian,proximal and distal point combination is applied more.Doctors tend to apply specific acupoints,especially luo-connecting points,eight-extra meridian confluent points,five shu points in treating chemotherapy-induced vomiting.
