Objective:The purpose of this study was to investigate the changes of serum carcinoembry-onic antigen(CEA)and T lymphocyte subsets(T-LS)in adult patients with obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome(OSAHS).To understand the difference of CEA and T-LS levels between the OSAHS patients and the normal subjects. To investigate the changes of immune function with OSAHS,and Correlation between OSAHS and cancer. To determine whether the change of CEA level in patients with OSAHS is related to the change of T-LS level. Methods:Choose during March 2015 to January 2017,the affiliated hospital of putian university respiratory medicine clinic and hospital diagnosis of OSAHS patients,85 cases of OSAHS group, the patients were divided into mild group, moderate group and severe group according to the severity of the disease, and the patients were divided into long course group(>5 years)and short course group(<5 years)according to the duration of disease,32 healthy outpatients were selected as control group. The peripheral serum CEA and T-LS were detected in all the subjects, and the differences of serum CEA and T-LS were compared. At the same time,we recorded the AHI and LSaO2 monitoring results of all subjects in PSG monitoring, analyzed the relationship between serum CEA,T-LS,AHI and LSaO2 in patients with OSAHS.Result:(1)Compared with control group, patients with OSAHS group serum percentage of CD3+CD4+ T cells and CD4+/CD8+ ratio significantly decreased(P<0.05),the CEA levels increased(P<0.05),while the CD3+ and CD3+CD8+ T cell percentage had no significant difference(P>0.05).(2)Different OSAHS illness group comparison:There was no significant difference in the percentage of CD3+ and CD3+CD8+T cells in each group(P>0.05).The percentage of CD3+CD4+T cells in mild group and moderate group was significantly lower than that in control group(P<0.05),and the percentage of CD3+CD4+T cells in severe group was significantly lower than that in control group, mild group and moderate group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the percentage of CD3+CD4+T cells between mild group and moderate group(P>0.05).The CD4+/CD8+ ratio of severe group was significantly lower than that of control group, mild group and moderate group(P<0.05),The CD4+/CD8+ ratio of moderate group was significantly lower than that of control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in CD4+/CD8+ ratio between the control group and the mild group(P>0.05).The serum CEA level in the severe group was significantly higher than that in the control group, mild group and moderate group, and the difference was significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in serum CEA between the control group, mild group and moderate group(P>0.05).(3)Different duration of OSAHS group comparison:The percentage of CD3+T lymphocytes in patients with long course of disease was lower than that in control group and short course group(P<0.05),and the level of CEA was significantly higher than that of control group and short course group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the percentage of CD3+T cells and CEA between the control group and the short course group(P>0.05).There was no significant difference between the three groups in serum CD3+CD8+T lymphocyte percentage(P>0.05).The percentage of CD3+CD4+T cells in the long course group was significantly lower than that in the control group and the short course group(P<0.05),and the percentage of CD3+CD4+T cells in the short course group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).The CD4+/CD8+ ratio of the control group was higher than that of the short course group and the long course group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in CD4+/CD8+ ratio between short course group and long course group(P>0.05).(4)The correlation analysis of AHI,LSaO2,T-LS and CEA in OSAHS group showed:There was no correlation between the levels of peripheral blood CD3+T cells and AHI,LSaO2 and CEA(P>0.05)in the OSAHS group. The level of CD3+CD4+T cells was significantly correlated with AHI,LSaO2 and CEA(P<0.01),and the level of CD3+CD4+T cells was negatively correlated with the level of AHI and CEA,which was positively correlated with LSaO2.There was a correlation between the level of CD3+CD8+T cells and AHI and LSaO2 in the OSAHS group(P<0.05),and the level of CD3+CD8+T cells was positively correlated with AHI and negatively correlated with LSaO2.There was no correlation between CD3+CD8+T level and CEA level(P>0.05).There was a significant correlation between CD4+/CD8+ ratio and AHI,LSaO2 and CEA in the OSAHS group(P<0.01),and the CD4+/CD8+ ratio was negatively correlated with the level of AHI and CEA,which was positively correlated with LSaO2.There was a significant correlation between serum CEA level and AHI,LSaO2 in OSAHS group(P<0.01),and the level of CEA was positively correlated with AHI and negatively correlated with LSaO2.Conclusion:1.T-LS changes in patients with OSAHS and associated with the severity and length of the course, suggesting that there may be varying degrees of immune function decline in patients with OSAHS.2.Serum CEA levels were elevated in patients with OSAHS,and mainly in patients with long course and severe OSAHS.3.There was a linear correlation between CEA,T-LS and AHI,LSaO2 in patients with OSAHS,indicating that AHI and LSaO2 may be one of the factors that affect the immune function and CEA levels in patients with OSAHS.4.There was a linear correlation between the levels of CEA,CD3+CD4+T lymphocyte and CD4+/CD8+ in patients with OSAHS,indicating that the increase of serum CEA level in patients with OSAHS may be related to the decrease of immune function.
