Correlation Between HLA And Obstructive Sleep Apnea Hypopnea Syndrome

Objective Obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome(OSAHS)is an unexplained sleep-disordered disease.The study found that OSAHS has family aggregation and genetic characteristics.This study mainly explores OSAHS patients with HLA-A2 and HLA-DQB1.*0602 gene correlation.Method Sixty healthy people with OSAHS were excluded as a normal control after medical history and polysomnography.The OSAHS patients(60 cases)were divided into 10 patients with mild OSAHS according to the sleep apnea hypopnea index(AHI).Fifteen patients in the OSAHS group and 35 patients in the severe OSAHS group were analyzed by polymerase chain reaction-sequence specific primer(PCR-SSP)analysis for HLA-A2 and HLA-DQB1*0602 in OSAHS patients and controls.Results There was no significant difference in mean age,gender,and BMI between the OSAHS group and the control group(P>0.05).The HLA-A2 and HLA-DQB 1*0602 alleles were significantly associated with OSAHS,and HLA-A2 was The difference was statistically significant in 63.3% of patients and 30% of the control group(P=0.011).HLA-DQB 1*0602 was found in 61.67% of OSAHS patients and 36.7% of the control group.Statistically significant(P=0.006);in patients with OSAHS,HLA-A2 was positively correlated with AHI(r=0.477,P=0.006),and negatively correlated with LSaO2(r=-0.215,P<0.001);HLA-DQB1 *0602 was positively correlated with AHI(r=0.315,P<0.001),negatively correlated with LSaO2(r=-0.207,P<0.001);positive rate of HLA-A2 allele in patients with mild,moderate and severe OSAHS20%,40%,85.7%,the difference was statistically significant(P=0.001);the positive rate of HLA-DQB 1*0602 allele in patients with mild,moderate and severe OSAHS was 20% and 26.7%,respectively.88.6%,the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.001).Conclusions Compared with the control group,the incidence of OSAHS was associated with HLA-A2 and HLA-DQB1*0602,and the risk of OSAHS with HLA-A2 and HLA-DQB1*0602 was higher and correlated with the severity of the disease.was associated with HLA-A2 and HLA-DQB1*0602,and the risk of OSAHS with HLA-A2 and HLA-DQB1*0602 was higher and correlated with the severity of the disease.
