With the accelerated pace of life,work,school and other pressure increases,the incidence of female dysmenorrhea gradually increased,the female life,work,physical and mental health caused a serious impact,and become a social concern of medical problems.Modern medicine in the analgesic althougt the effect is quick,but the efficacy of short duration,high recurrence rate,long-term poor efficacy,long-term medication prone to adverse reactions.How to relieve pain and reduce the recurrence of dysmenorrhea is an important problem to be solved urgently.Aromatherapy is a gem of Traditional Chinese medicine,which has many advantages,such as direct action site,flexible dosage forms,little toxic and side effects.Hence,this unique treatment has been studied by researcher in more depth.In a large number of.ancient literature,scattered in the prevention and treatment of dysmenorrhea aromatherapy,its unique way,the effect is obvious,widely circulated in the folk.Objective In this study,we reviewed the ancient literature about the prevention and treatment of dysmenorrhea by using aromatherapy to understand its development process.Through the study of the pharmacological and pharmacological analysis of aromatic drugs,the principle of prevention and treatment of dysmenorrhea was explored,which provided objective basis for clinical prevention and treatment of dysmenorrhea.To collect and sort out the prevention and treatment of dysmenorrhea aromatherapy,to provide new ideas for the clinical.Methods Make use of library resources and major electronic database resources,study on method of TCM literature,collect,organize and summarize records about aromatherapy prevention and treatment of dysmenorrhea in ancient literature,from the "Compendium of Materia Medica","Shen Nong Herbal","Aromaitic drugs Herbal","Herbal reading"and other works to collect aromatic drugs,and aromatic pharmacological analysis,summed up the aromatheray treatment of dysmenorrhea mechanism;by searching the "dictionary of Chinese Medicine Prescriptions",combined with the "Golden Chamber",the " Taiping Royal Prescriptions","General Records of Holy Universal Relie","The complete recipe for women","Woman Regulations","Ji Yin Gang","Fuqingzhu's Obstetrics and Gynecology "and other gynecological classic works,looking for ancient books contains "dysmenorrhea"prescription,and to plan the new century in Higher Institutions of Chinese medicine materials in "pharmacy" as the standard,standard drug name,processing methods,etc.,select a total of 73 classic dysmenorrhea prescription,the application of "frequency statistics"program,found that the useage of aromatic drugs.With the help of literature materials,collection and collation prevention and treatment of dysmenorrhea aromatherapy,found its easy to use,porminent efficacy and other advantages,such as to demonstrate the effectiveness of aromatherapy to prevent and cure dysmenorrhea.Conclusions Aromatherapy in the application of dysmenorrhea has a combination of prevention and treatment,both internal and external treatment simple,effective and low cost,for clinical prevention and treatment of dysmenorrhea to provide new ideas,new methods,it is worthy promoting.
