Provide a new dysmenorrhea treatment with scientific and clincal approval.MethodsIn this study, we applied clinical observations approach. We randomly selected90subjects from two Taiwaness clinics:Wang Xuan and Luck Chinese medicine clinics. Among the90subjects, we used a random number table to1:1:1assigned them to three different group, aromatherapy with acupuncture points, aromatherapy with message, and aromatherapy with embedding lines. Each group contains30subjects.Aromatherapy with acupuncture points group uses oil massage the lower abdomen, lumbosacral and click Guan Yuan, uterus (bilateral), Ciliao (bilateral), seventeen vertebrae; aromatherapy with message group uses aromatherapy massage oils applied under abdomen, lumbosacral treatment; aromatherapy with embedding lines group selected Guan Yuan, uterus (bilateral), Ciliao (bilateral) to perform line embedding therapy. All subjects in the three groups were before their menstrual period of7to10days to begin treatment. One menstrual cycle is a course of treatment, and this study contains three continuous treatments. Within the3continuous treatments, we evaluate before and after each treatment by McGill Pain Scale. After evaluating each subject, we used SPSS13.0for statistical analysis.ResultsⅠ. Dysmenorrhea severity score:all the scores of the three groups has decreased after treatment. Aromatherapy with the acupuncture group has lower points than simply aromatherapy; the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). However it showed no significant difference (P>0.05) comapring with the embedding group. In conclusion, the aromatherapy with the acupuncture group is as effectively as the embedding group.Ⅱ. Feeling pain score, emotional score and total score:all the score of the three groups has decreased after treatment. There are significant differenct (P<0.05) between aromatherapy with acupuncture group and aromatherapy group, whereas there is no significant difference between aromatherapy with acupuncture and embedding group (P>0.05).Ⅲ. VAS, PRI and PPI scores:all the score of the three groups has decreased after treatment.Ⅳ. The total efficiency:the aromatherapy with embedded group has maximem efficiency, and the aromatherapy with acupuncture has the second efficiency; whereas the purely aromatherapy has the lowest efficiency among the three groups.ConelusionsAromatherapy with acupuncture tap, pure aromatherapy and embedding therapy for primary dysmenorrhea all have a certain effect.
