The Clinical Observation And Syndrome Type Analysis Of Allergic Rhinitis By Pressing Auricular Points With Bean Combined With Xinqin Particles

Objective:This study based on the theory of auricular points and meridian theory, using the auricular points, aimed at observing the clinical effects of pressing auricular points with bean in the treatment of allergic rhinitis and exploring its mechanism. Then find a safe and effective method, easy for patients to accept, and analyze the relationship between therapeutic effect and the syndrome differentiation types.Method:60 patients were divided into two groups according to random number table:the treatment group (oral XinQin particles+auricular points group) and control group (simple oral XinQin particles).Both groups were treated for four weeks and record signs and symptoms before the treatment started and at the end of first week, second week and fourth week. And analyze the data with software SPSS19.0.Results:In the aspect of curative effect, effective rate of treatment group was 53.3%after one week, effective rate of control group was 28.6%, the difference between the two groups was statistically significant, but had no statistically significant difference in improving the nasal congestion, sneezing, runny nose, nasal itching the nasal symptoms. The effective rate of treatment group was 66.7% after two weeks and control group was 57.1%, the difference between the two groups has no statistical significance. The effective rate of treatment group was 70% after two weeks and that of control group was 60.7%. The symptoms and signs of both groups were improved after treatment, but the experimental group in curative effect on improving the nasal symptoms and signs is better than that in control group, This might be the treatment group used the pressing auricular points with bean, have beneficial stomach gas, supporting, cried check Qiu taken effect. Both groups have no effect on the improvement of the nasal itching. As for the improvement of the symptoms of nasal congestion, sneezing, runny nose, the treatment group were slightly better than the control group after one week. The treatment group and control group has no statistical difference in improving the nasal symptoms and signs after two weeks and four weeks.Conclusion:Pressing auricular points with bean combined with Xinqin particles have certain effect in improving symptoms and signs in patients with nasal, but has no obvious improvement for nasal itching. The effect of pressing auricular points with bean combined with Xinqin particles is superior to simple use of Xinqin particles at the end of first week. The curative effect of both groups is almost equal at the end of second week and fourth week. Xinqin particles are effective for patients diagnosed with deficient cold of lung qi and deficiency of spleen qi.Chinese patent medicine should be used under the direction of syndrome differentiation.
