Clinical Observation Of Combination Therapy On The Quality Of Life With Auricular Acupuncture And Xiaoyao San For The Liver Qi Stagnation Induced Recovery Breast Cancers

Objective:The quality of life is closly associated with the occurrence, development, conversion and prognosis of the breast cancers.As the technology of diagnosis and treatment significantly improved,survival of patients are obviously prolonged.Breast cancers in restoration period have already become a huge social crowd.It is of great significance for improving patients-quality of life and restoring psychologyical and physical health by intervening emotional disorder with knowing the characteristcs of psychology.According to the basic theory of TCM and Meridian,conbinated with years of clinical experience of Professor Li Shijie, questionaire survey was made on all patients with filling out the FACT-B.4.0 form.To analyze the score of Auricular Acupunctue conbinated with Xiaoyao San and Xiaoyao San,find the influence of quality of life with Auricular Acupuncture,in orde to seek ways of Auricular Acupuncture in breast cancers.Methods:We do the clinical observation with randomized,controlled study method,and establish diagnostic criteria sample,inclusion criteria,exclusion criteria and the suspension of clinical trial standards.With the informed consent of patients,researchers recorded the general information,mental status and TCM types.80 patients with breast cancer from TCM of Chengdu university afiliated hospital for 2014.03-2015.09 were randomly divided into treatment group (40 cases)and control group(40 cases). All of them filled breast cancer patients Quality of Life(FACT-B) before accepting such survy.Two of the groups received endocrine therapy according with ER,PR type and Xiayao San TCM therapy.The treatment group conbinated with Auricular Acupuncture and the auricular needles were retained for 3-5 days(twice a week),with 5 sessions.each broken by a three day reast period,considered to be one course of treatment.After 3 weeks,patients again filled FACT-B.Researchers recorded the score of physical well-being,social/family well-being,emotional well-being, functional well-being,additional concerns and use SPSS 19.0 statistical software to establish q database.Between the treatment and control group were using independent samples t test and two groups before and after with paired t test or rank sum test to evaluate the Quality of Life.Results:1?The treatment group was superior to the control group in improving the quality of life of Liver Qi Stagnation induced Recovery breast cancers.Between the two group were using independent samples t test,P<0.05, with statistical significance?2?Before and after therapy for the trentment group,used paired t test or rank sum test,P<0.05, showing Auricular Acupuncture and Xiaoyao San obviousely improved quality of life of trentment group.3?Before and after therapy for the control group, used paired t test or rank sum test,physical well-being and scale score P<0.05, with statistical significance?However other items-P was>0.05,without statistical significance?Conclusion:Auricular Acupuncture and Xiaoyao San therapy obviousely improved quality of life for Liver Qi Stagnation induced Recovery breast cancers.Compared with purely oral Chinese medicine admini stration, Auricular Acupuncture and smoothing liver therapy had better clinical effect.Auricular Acupuncture is important in the rehabilitation of breast cancers therapy.
