ObjectiveTo study the effect of anti-osteoporosis treatment on elderly patients with femoral intertrochanteric fracture fixation.MethodsA retrospective clinical research was done with the elderly patients who did osteoporotic intertrochanteric fractures in zhenping county people's hospitalfrom January 2014 to January 2016.60 patients were divided into experimental group and the control group according to whether they received anti osteoporosis therapy after operation. The bone mineral density of postoperative 1 day and 3 months, the VAS score of preoperative 1 day and postoperative 1,2,3 and 4 weeks, the rate of fracture healing at postoperative 8 weeks and 3 months, and the hip joint activity at 3 months postoperatively were compared between the two groups.to evaluate anti osteoporosis drug treatment on the elderly femoral intertrochanteric fractureinternal fixation. Results :(1)There was no significant difference in bone mineral density between the experimental group and the control group on the first day after operation and postoperative 3 months(P> 0.05);Although patients postoperative 3 months BMD is higher than the average of postoperative 1 day,but the increase was not statistically difference(P > 0.05).(2)The pain scores were analyzed at preoperative 1 day, postoperative 1,2,3 and 4 weeks using the method of variance analysis of repeated measurement data. And the results showed that the postoperative pain relief of the experimental group was significantly better than that of the control group(P <0.05).(3)The fracture healing rates of the experimental group and the control group were 53.33% and 40.00% at postoperative 8 weeks, while the rates were 86.67% and 63.33% at postoperative 3 months respectively. The experimental group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P <0.05)at postoperative 3 months.(4)The Harris scores of experimental group and control group were 81.57 ± 10.187 and 75.13 ± 10.228,respectively,The former is significantly higher than the latter(P < 0.05);The excellent rates of the two groups were 53.33% and 30.00%,respectively,the experimental group was significantly higher than that of control group(P<0.05).Conclusion :Treatment of anti-osteoporosis in elderly patients with intertrochanteric fractures can alleviate postoperative pain symptoms, promote fracture healing, improve hip function, and bone mineral density showing a rising trend.
