Objective: To investigate the distinct amino acids from serum between renal clear cell carcinoma?RCCC?patients line and healthy volunteers line,to assess their clinical significance.Methods: 17 Serum amino acids levels were measured by high-performance liquid chromatography?HPLC?technique in 140 samples from the RCCC patients and 140 serum amino acids samples from healthy volunteers were.Screening multiple diagnostic parameters for RCCC through the mean comparison between the two groups and logistic stepwise regression analysis,to evaluate the diagnostic value of them through ROC curves.The measurement of tumor volumes was performed in the renal carcinoma group,and the correlation analysis was conducted between serum levels of amino acids and tumor volumes.By comparing the mean between groups out differences between the Han and Uygur kidney cancer patients with amino acids,and using ROC curve to assess the diagnostic value of different amino acids.Results: Compared to the healthy controls,the plasma aspartate,the glycine,the histidine,the alanine,the tyrosine,the cystine,the valine,the methionine,the lysine,the isoleucine,the leucine,and the phenylalanine decrease gradually from the RCC with statistical significance?P<0.05?.Two items of serum amino acids Proline and Glycine were selected into Logistic regression equation.The corresponding alias under the curve?AUC?were 0.686 and 0.877 respectively.Han and Uygur of kidney cancer patients have differences in amino acids to aspartate,glycine and tyronine.Three kinds of different amino acid corrpesponds to the Han nationality under the ROC curve is 0.536,0.812 and 0.814,the corresponding Uighur under the ROC curve is 0.676,0.804 and 0.876.The negative correlation was found between the serum glutamate,proline,tyrosine,valine,methionine,isoleucine,leucine,phenylalanine and rumor volume.Conclusions: Glycine have largest AUCROC and highest diagnostic value in monomial index of serum amino acids.Joint inspection Proline and Glycine,which can improve the corresponding sensitivity and specific degrees of RCCC diagnosis.It has difference for serum amino acid is aspartate,glycine and tyronine between Han with RCC and Uygur with RCC in Xinjiang.Tyronine have largest AUCROC and highest diagnostic value in Han and Uygur.Some specific amino acids have close relation with the growth of renal carcinoma,which will provide the experimental and theoretic basis for the management of amino acid imbalance in patients with renal carcinoma.Detection of specific amino acids in kidney cancer is significant for study on cancer development mechanism of clinical specific biomarkers.
