| Objectives:In this study,We adopt Acupuncture Trigger Point combined with Neurodynamics to treat Sciatica of nerve trunk.And then observe the change of simplified McGill pain questionnaire score(SF-MPQ score,including PRI,VAS and PPI)and Oswestry disability index(CODI)and clinical efficacy of the two groups of patients before and after treatment and follow-up of two months,analyze its specific principles of action,in order to shorten the treatment time of patients and improve the long-term efficacy of Sciatica of nerve trunk.And provide new ideas and new methods for the diagnosis and treatment of this disease.Methods:60 patients who were hospitalized from the Department of Orthopedic Rehabilitation 3 in Dongyuan District,Taihe hospital,Shiyan City,from June 2015 to December 2016 were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,each group of 30 cases,according to the order of treatment(random figure table).Two groups of patients received conventional rehabilitation therapy,and the treatment group was treated with Acupuncture Trigger Point combined with Neurodynamics,the control group was treated with common acupuncture combined with traditional massage treatment,once a day,7 days for a course of treatment.The treatment group were treated with 2 courses,while the control group were treated with 3 courses,and rest for a day during the treatment.Observe the SF-MPQ score and CODI score of the two groups before and after the treatment,and the follow-up of two months,then compare the curative effect of the two groups.Results:(1)It indicated that there was no significant difference(P>0.05)between the two groups' comparison of the pain rating index(PRI score),visual analogue assessment(VAS score),current pain intensity(PPI score),SF-MPQ score and CODI score before treatment,which means that the groups were comparable.(2)After treatment,The PRI score,VAS score,PPI score,SF-MPQ score and CODI score of the two groups were lower than those before treatment,whose differences were statistically significant(P <0.01orP<0.05).The results showed that the treatment groups' degree of reduction is more obvious than that before treatment,that the differences was statistically significant(P<0.01).The results showed that the treatment group has more advantages in improving the pain and dysfunction of the study subjects.(3)2 months follow-up,The comparison of CODI score and SF-MPQ total score between the treatment group and the control group showed that the treatment groups' were lower than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant,indicating that the treatment group still can more effectively improve pain and dysfunction of the object in the long-term.(4)After treatment,the total effective rate(93.3%)in the treatment group was significantly higher than that in the control group(83.3%),but there was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).And the total effective rate(92.9%)of treatment group was significantly higher than that of the control group(66.7%),and the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05),indicating that the long-term total effective rate of the treatment group was better than that of the control group.Conclusions:(1)The method used in the treatment group and the control group can effectively reduce the pain degree of the patients with Sciatica of nerve trunk,and the effect of Acupuncture Trigger Point combined with Neurodynamics used by treatment group is more obvious,and it has more advantages in the long-term.(2)The method used in the treatment group and the control group can effectively improve dysfunction of the patients with Sciatica of nerve trunk,and the effect of Acupuncture Trigger Point combined with Neurodynamics used by treatment group is more obvious,and it has more advantages in the long-term.(3)The method used in the treatment group and the control group have significant effect,and the long-term effect of Acupuncture Trigger Point combined with Neurodynamics used by treatment group is more obvious. |
